Another static thing that doesn’t go at all! Non-functional fake Moog Modular prop for an event. A keen eye can see that the client actually used a software synth image as a guide and that the two copies were specified in mirror image which I obliged. Again, looks cool but is mute wallpaper. by @kennymakesstuffgo

When doing an LED project I always ask the client “where is this going to be shown?” The difference between a dark nightclub and a broad daylight outdoor TV shoot completely changes the approach and components to be used. In this shot the difference between window light and shadow completely obliterates visibility of the diffused LED tape inside the diffuser.

Not my design but I had fun printing this Xmas tree 🌲 in glow in the dark green filament and found some UV (purple) LED tea lights on you-know-where. Specifically done for my nerd brother @popsgustav 😘 by @kennymakesstuffgo

I Knolled the LED workbench at home. These are my first LED lantern guts made for my godfather’s 80th birthday party ten years ago. They’ve evolved a lot since then into super bright 3W models but these still have a dim, gentle charm. Some soothing Lutoslawski as accompaniment. #LEDS #Lutoslawski by @kennymakesstuffgo

This seems the best way to cut tiny, thin wall tubing. The scrap wood has a shallow groove cut in to hold the stock and I tape both sides of the cut so nothing skitters across the shop. Diamond cutoff wheel on the dremel is so fast and no crushing. That mini pipe cutter thing you see in the background is useless. You spend half your day twirling that stupid thing and it still crushes the end of the tube. by @kennymakesstuffgo

Dad left so much confusing, weird, antique objects behind but this is not one of them. I have used this 1960s dado set of his so many times to perfect effect. I’d never dream of casting them off. So perfectly useful. Endlessly useful. by @kennymakesstuffgo
