Here’s another old pic of Waiting on the Moon playing in the Bay Area at Burnt Ramen in Richmond. That venue was so sick, I don’t even know if it’s still around. It had a room with the stage, another room with a couple half pipes and a bar in the back. We had so much fun playing there and met so many amazing people and bands.

In the front of this pic is Cassie’s cousin, Taylor, who would play sax with us every now and then. It was always so cool getting to watch their relationship. Cassie was Taylor’s biggest supporter and you could tell how much they looked up to each other.

Now, all these years later, Taylor will be stepping in behind the drums for us on August 30th!! I think this is such a cool way to honor Cassie ❤️

Join us as we celebrate her life and continue her legacy ❤️

Here’s a really old photo of us playing at Submission in SF. Dude those were the fkn days, $80 deposit to lock in the date and split door at end of the show. So many incredible memories came out of that venue!!

I miss playing with Cassie so much!! No matter what kind of musician you were, she’d make you feel like an absolute legend every time you stepped on stage with her.

If you can, please make the effort to come out to this show, it would mean so much to all of us!! I’d love nothing more than to dance around with ya while we celebrate Cassie together ❤️

This is one of the most important shows I’ll be playing all year and I’d really love it if you could come out and be a part of it.

This show is in honor of one of my best friends, Cassie Jalilie, who recently passed away after battling cervical cancer. It’s been an incredibly difficult time for so many of us and this is our chance to celebrate her life, remember her, and support an amazing cause @chicxsrockerxssela ✨

My old band, Waiting on the Moon, will be reuniting for this matinee show at the @regenttheaterla It’ll be me on bass/vox, @kennyonthemoon on guitar/vox and we’re honored to have Cassie’s cousin Taylor filling in on drums. It feels so incredibly special to play these songs again in Cassie’s honor ❤️
