Yesterday I had the pleasure of hosting the very first session of Dayz on the Mic 🎤☀️ , and it was such a beautiful time!

We had a good mix of musicians and poets come out to showcase their talent--even a couple of them didn't plan on performing until they saw the others, then got inspired to get on the mic to really awe us! I truly feel yesterday had an amazing energy of love, fun and support for our creatives. To be able to put on an event that brings people together that fuels people's passions and authenticity is an opportunity I am always grateful for. 💖

Thank you to all the performers and everyone else who came out yesterday, whether with the intention of watching the show or because you simply walked by and got excited to be a part of something new.

And of course a big shout out to all my vendors who set up such awesome displays for their businesses/artworks--and to @groundvinyl for running sound, helping with all the equipment and curating the jamz. 😎🎵

Please stay tuned for my announcement for the next Dayz on the Mic and my other upcoming events! I am so excited to see you all again!

SURPRISE!!!~ YOUR PROBLEMATIC FAVE IS BACK 😘 (swipe for a little laughter maybe) 🫣

I'm so excited to announce my upcoming open mic, Dayz on the Mic, as my first event for 2026! From now on, they will be held on Sundays starting from 11AM-2PM at my fave outdoor coffee bar with support from our lovely friend and local DJ/ fellow event connoisseur @groundvinyl 🎶

We are now asking for a suggested donation of $5 from everyone; however, we are still keeping it sliding scale, and no one will be turned away for lack of funds! 💕 These donations are simply to help support us for various supplies and the hosts for graciously lending their space and equipment.

In addition to the very delicious drink menu by DeCorazon Coffee, we will have other fun complimentary beverages 🥂 (21+ ID check) and food available to purchase for your enjoyment. We may even have some local artists or other small businesses to check out while you're here 😏 (Vendors are TBD).

I know it has been quite a while since my last event, so I truly hope my open mic regulars all can make it out and show off your awesome musical and poetic skills again, or just come say hi and give some hugs cuz I miss your faces!! 🥹🫶🏽 And if you are new to my events, I am looking forward to meeting you all and hope you have a fun time expressing yourself or watching the performers!

✨️ I have a couple other community events I am in the process of planning for this year, so please stay tuned for some new and awesome things!

Thank you as always for your continued support,

Vee 💖🩵🧡💚

Spring, for many, is a symbol of new beginnings. When the first green emerges from the ground and the first bud opens, people all over the world celebrate life's triumph over death.🌼🍁

Flowers bloom for the first time in months, against the ruthlessness of ice and snow & "weed" love it if you give us our flowers for trying to change the energy in the world!🌎

Sunny Creations 1904 presents our 2nd Group Art Show with 35 different artists coming together in harmony at @decorazoncoffee to celebrate this rebirth!💐

Jam out with our friends @groundvinyl who are bringing all the funk & reggae needs for the show!✌🏽

As you "toke" in the art, get tatted up by our talented bestie @eevee_tattoos!🦋

Be sure to support our "bud"tiful vendors who also have a piece in the show: @bambam1919 @cjtroxellart @doodlesnsketches_ @moodylayerz @peacesigns0nly & @soledawg ! 🎁

Shout out @bongwatersd for killing it on our flyer once again! His creativity never ceases to amaze us!🪄

35 artists, 7 vendors, tattoos, music, delicious food, & all around peace & love! Spring into love this April 💖 taken in DeCorazon Coffee Bar by @groundvinyl
