Poster recreation from the 50s. Put my own spin on it and (hopefully) did the original justice. (There was no way Judge WASN’T gonna be the centerpiece lol)

Vintage sports posters have a magnetism to them that other kinds of design simply don’t have. Gonna do more of these moving forward by @kenplusultra

Believe it or not, Aaron Rodgers was the 4th quarterback taken the in 2005 NFL draft. He grew up a 49ers fan and when the chance arose for them to take him as the first QB off the board, they went with Alex Smith instead (who himself went on to have a really solid career.) He felt slighted by the team he grew up a giant fan of and swore he’d make them regret their choice (I think it’s fair to say they very much did lol.)

The Packers took Aaron at the 24th spot, hoping he’d blossom into a franchise QB as Brett Favre’s replacement. Turns out they got exactly what they hoped for. The coach-player duo of Rodgers & Mike McCarthy took the Packers to the Super Bowl in 2010, securing their first title in over a decade! by @kenplusultra

Drew’s initial run with the San Diego Chargers left him without a place to call home, but luckily the Saints were in a similar situation (no thanks to Hurricane Katrina). The Saints were desperate for a signal caller and Drew needed a new situation to prove himself worthy of being a starter in the league.

He signed with the Saints in 2006, just one season after the Saints couldn’t even play in home games due to the destruction of Hurricane Katrina. Drew’s impact was immediate. Just 3 seasons later he lead the Saints to the Super Bowl, securing the city of New Orleans their ever Lombardi Trophy.

Drew’s time in the league saw him amassing:

2× NFL Offensive Player of the Year
4× Second-team All-Pro
13× Pro Bowl
7× NFL passing yards leader
