#nowplaying: 🇸🇪🐺💀 This album has been on repeat since it came out. @wolfbrigadeofficial has been so damn consistently good over the last 4 albums. Completely their own genre at this point.

What @russ_clune_lifer said. Best month of the year to live up in these parts. Beautiful ride to the top of Bear Mountain and back. Gorgeous scenery on some of the best roads. taken in The Top of Bear Mountain by @kenwohlrob

#nowplaying: This one is for my friend @lady.three.blankets. Original release from’85. Best live version of “Countess Bathory” + “Bursting Out.” And the usual set of ridiculous photos (only ever to be outdone by Immortal).

Seamus Heaney really made this story live and breathe. I had never read the third part of the tale where Beowulf meets his end and it becomes a harbinger for the downfall of the Geats. Even the hero cannot cheat death forever. Wiglaf’s lament and anguish at the fate of his people is really touching. He was the last good man standing after Beowulf’s demise.

#nowplaying: @grouperepuorg’s Shade via @krankyltd. Saw her show at the Old Dutch Church in Kingston, NY and she was quite damn good. That voice will haunt you like a ghost.
