I filmed this project during the pandemic in Savannah. This was the first speaking role in a film I ever booked. At first, I was a little disappointed to learn my face wouldn’t be shown — I had to wear a full hazmat suit and mask. But when the producers told me I was chosen because of my voice, that changed everything.

It reminded me of how the legendary James Earl Jones was cast as Darth Vader in Star Wars and praised for his powerful vocal performance. Moments like that remind me to stay grateful for every opportunity in this industry — they don’t come easy.

More to come! 🚀🎬💪🏾🙌🏾

The drama went down this past weekend! Both shows of Betrayed had a packed house! Jeff, the villain I portrayed, was a real scumbag but was so much fun to play. A woman I saw after the play told me "I don't like you and how you did Ari. Good job!" Lol 😄

Shout out to the cast and crew! It was great working with you all! Thank you to my tribe and everyone that came out to support the play. Also big thanks to the director @thewtheater! I always appreciate the opportunity to work you! 🙌🏾🫶🏿

Coming up, I'll be starring in the film Cloud 9! It's a romance anthology coming out in November directed by @thewtheater. 🎬

The NABJ convention was phenomenal! I had the best time and connected with some amazing people. One highlight for me was my conversation with the legendary Jayne Kennedy Overton! Her words of encouragement and advice were priceless! I'm looking forward to next year in Houston! 🎙
