In this week's episode of The Fuel Run Recover podcast I'm so excited to bring you this conversation with Kyle Kenyon!

Kyle is a long time runner, who had been spending most of his time in the ultra running space, until he decided to see if he could train for and run a sub-4 marathon.

Owning a business and working a physically demanding job as a carpenter meant an extra level of dedication to training and recovery in order to stay on track, but Kyle was able to make it to race day feeling confident and prepared.

Tune in to hear Kyle's story, and get his advice for achieving your marathon goals!

Just a kid from the neighbourhood framing some big ol' homes. This one had some cooks stuff going on. 14/12 roof, some curved roof sections, lot a of arches. Nothing big like finishing on a Friday. Cheers to the weekend. Thanks again to @matsumoto.carpentry for jumping in on this and helping me get back on schedule. by @kenyonconstruction

Well since we built this house inside out I thought I'd share the finished product in reverse as well. Thanks to @cornerstonetimberframes for the amazing Timbers. Putting it together again was lots of fun. We opted to build our exterior walls first. Insulate and vapour barrier them as much as possible, move them out of the way with the telehandler and install the Timbers. After the Timbers were installed we dropped the exterior walls in place with the machine and proceeded to build the roof inside out. Thanks to my amazing customers for the patience on this one. We had some delays and they have been nothing but great to work for. by @kenyonconstruction

Framing on icf house complete. Had the privilege framing the floor, interior walls, roof and garage on this icf house for a couple great customers. Building relationships with other trades goes a long way and getting the opportunity to frame for a guy who knows his concrete was pretty rad. The heat killed me on this one not going to lie but we got it done and it's looking great. Ps never have I ever seen so many t braces in my life. Thanks partnering up with me on this @rlucier_building letting us get multiple places done at one. by @kenyonconstruction

Two duplexes done with my close friends @rlucier_building. Gotta say I don't think I've ever pushed myself like I have this year and having friends to go through it with you makes it a little easier. Weird to be framing in the city when you're used to framing in the bush. Not used to a hundreds of people in a small area making noise, getting in our way and generally anoying us but we powered through. On to the next one ! Thanks for kicking ass on these rick. by @kenyonconstruction

Finished duplex project

A look at one of our recently completed duplex builds.

We enjoy seeing projects come together from the ground up and appreciate being trusted to be part of the process.

More projects coming soon.

Well it's hard to get pics of our work here as this place is ongoing. You'll notice the missing ceiling blocking but the ceiling is getting built down by others so no need. This one was....a challenge. The foundation was extremely out of square and not built to the proper dimensions. We were able to bring it back to life, fight the muddy site and get it done. by @kenyonconstruction
