My name is Kenzie Couch, and I am proud to serve as one of your Communications Directors on the Tennessee Spirit Alumni Council Board of Directors.

I had the privilege of being a member of the Tennessee Cheer Team from 2019–2023, where I graduated with a degree in Public Relations. Those four years gave me countless memories that I will cherish forever — from winning two UCA National Championships to storming the field after beating Alabama.

But some of my favorite memories didn’t come with a roaring crowd or a championship trophy. They came from the small moments — the opportunity, every time I put on my uniform, to make someone’s day a little brighter and to make them feel seen, valued, and loved. From the little girls proudly wearing their miniature cheer uniforms to the die-hard fans who never missed a game, it was an incredible privilege to connect with the people who make Tennessee so special.

It was an honor to uphold what it means to be a Volunteer and to represent a university that has given me so much.

There truly is no place like Tennessee, and I am so honored to continue serving the Volunteer community alongside so many passionate and dedicated Spirit Team Alumni. I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together! 🍊 #VFL taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @kenzcouch_
