Salt Lake City, forever grateful for you🤍

I got to spend this last week serving in Utah and the Lord used it to truly break my heart for what breaks His.
This trip reminded me that God’s heart has always been compassionate for the lost, the broken, and those searching for life in places that can never truly satisfy.

I was reminded that the Gospel isn’t about striving, earning, or achieving enough to reach God. It’s about a God who loved us first. A God who sent His Son, Jesus, to die and rise again so that we could have a relationship with Him. A God whose grace is free, whose love is unearned, and whose pursuit of His people never stops no matter how unfaithful we are.

My prayer for Utah,
Father I pray you open hearts to truly know you, not through striving, performance, or religion, but through the truth of your gospel and the depth of your love.
Let people encounter the real Jesus: the Savior who paid it all on the cross and offers grace freely.
The only way, truth, and life.
Draw the lost, the broken, and the searching into your compassionate, fatherly arms.
May your Word be revealed as truth, and may many find life, freedom, and relationship with you beyond anything they could ever do for you.

I’m forever grateful for this residency season and these sweet students who shaped me more than they know!

These sweet first graders taught me patience, how to love well, and the beauty of childlike faith — a faith that trusts fully, loves freely, and finds joy in the smallest things. Watching them reminded me what it looks like to come to Jesus with open hands and open hearts.

So thankful I get to carry a piece of them with me through every little handprint on this skirt, a reminder of how faithful God has been through this year of teaching and how excited I am for the path He is leading me into next!

Though God is leading me into full-time ministry instead of the classroom, these children have shaped me in ways I will carry forever🫶🏻 by @kenzimayewolf
