Been very grateful and geeked about this and for about a day with no real words to express the gratitude and sense of accomplishment. Yesterday I woke up to a message from @nataliafedner (THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU) that a photo I took of her was published in an article on the @britishvogue website. This is definitely a milestone for me as having any of my work in/on vogue has been a goal since I first started my photography career 🥺🥺🥺. It’s definitely the first time having work published in vogue 🥺🥺🥺🔥🔥 but it won’t be the last. #artshelp #nftart #lightroom #headshot #photography #wescottlighting #canonphotography #fashionphotography #fashion #写真 #njphotographer #photographer #nyfw #britishvogue #casual #ファッション写真 #stylist #arts_help #lazyboi #portrait #nataliafedner #unicornsearchparty #keonvines #keon #portraitphotography by @keonvines_

Silhouette in the moonlight. 🌙When I shot this series, all I could think about was the work of Bob Fosse. There’s something about a silhouette that lets the lines, shapes, and movement do all the talking.I guess the jazz dancer in me was ready to take center stage. ✨ put on bye bye blackbird and I’m ready to dance. One day soon I’ll do a Broadway/jazz influenced Burlesque number. Sometimes all you need is moonlight and a little imagination. 💋 Thank you @keonvines_ for capturing my essence #burlesque #showgirl #broadway #jazzdancer by @keonvines_

Sorry to have to disappoint so many people ( there is legit about 200 of you who really support me) Highkey I don’t think I’ll be having case study this year as I can’t make it bigger than last but I’ll keep everyone posted about what comes of this year. I think I need to take a year off from the big show to focus on how to expand the show. Last year we had about 50 artist take part in a 3 day event and my goal is to make it 100. I want art Basel for NJ without the billionaire influence and I will have what I want cause the artist I meet are worth the effort. We are planning a bunch of mini shows and I’m hopping yall will stay involved.I love yall잊지 마📸 @maiismaze by @keonvines_

One of the struggles of being a conceptual photographer is realizing that your purpose is to capture moments that constantly pull you back into the past, making it incredibly difficult to live in the present. From the outside looking in, people assume that when you’re behind the camera, you’re fully immersed in the moment. But how can you be?While I’m shooting, I’m already thinking about the future—about the day I’ll revisit these images and edit them to reflect what I felt in that instant. The colors have to be timeless. The story has to make people feel something, or they’ll scroll past without a second thought. How can I ever be fully present when I’m constantly planning for a future in which the audience will experience my past? By the time they digest the photograph, the moment is already gone. My job is to preserve it, yet in doing so, I sacrifice the chance to simply live it.Eventually, living with this mindset creates an inner conflict, and over time, its effects begin to feel irreversible. You’re trapped in a subspace where you speak two languages—one visual and one written—yet you’re never truly understood, only perceived through whatever lens someone chooses to project onto you. Every interpretation says as much about the viewer as it does about the work, leaving you caught between expression and assumption.Eventually, living with this mindset creates an inner conflict, and over time, its effects begin to feel irreversible. Every interpretation says as much about the viewer as it does about the work, leaving you caught between expression and assumption.I’m not sure where it leaves me.Maybe there isn’t an answer yet. Maybe this is simply the cost of seeing the world through a lens that is always searching for meaning. I trust that, in time, I’ll learn how to separate the artist from the person—or maybe I’ll discover that they were never meant to be separated at all.Good, bad, or indifferent, I’ll figure it out.Until then, I won’t stop creating.
