Marley is 18 years old today !!! What a girl - Blessed and highly favored by GOD. I love who you are becoming and will always be here for you…standing 10 toes behind and in-front of you to guide and protect. Senior year has already started on a good note, push harder in the books, run faster on the track and be present for every experience that the Lord has placed in your path. Track and football season has started and time management is Key! In our house, you have to do something else…at least one activity ( could’ve been dancing, could've been chess… but we have student-athletes. Big up to the parents who understand what it is to be an Uber/ Taxi for your kids , big up to the parents who are willing to be the group uber/taxi for the friends whose parents are busy, or just can't make it and you taking their kids too… big up to the drop off and pick up parents because you have to multitask… and big up to the parents that stay to watch and can give you a full update on your kids progress! Their talent is worth it, the friends they meet are worth it, the discipline of practicing is worth it, and the lessons that competitions bring are worth it! taken in Miami, Florida by @keramack

Last night Marley found out I had my “ stalker acct” for her social media (a hot boy pic called Slackker2005 🤣, that she accepted , for months now 🤣…. She said “You are officially a
STALKER” …. I corrected her, not stalking…. it was PARENTING! It’s been 16 Years! We sometimes have to do whatever we must to ensure we protect , despite loving you. Loving a child in this world is not enough , as parents we have to ACT sometimes with persuasion , force, or in my case unconventional methods!! Here is to unconditional love with unconventional actions… that’s my best gift to you.… Happy 16th My Marley ♦️this season of transformation will need all the hard work, discipline, confidence, curiosity, talent, personality, and love ❤️! You will be tested … enjoy today, don’t rush to be an adult, it’s coming trust me, be 16 , have fun, cultivate great friendships and be THE SUPERSTAR I know you are.
