The sudden urge to escape reality and become a swashbuckling, blood-soaked pirate—sailing the seas, singing sea shanties, chasing treasure, and saving myself a spot in Davy Jones’ Locker.

This could have easily been two paperbacks and a hardcover book 📖 😂

Listen, I have a TBR problem. And by problem, I mean these covers keep finding me, and apparently I have absolutely NO self-control. 😂💜

Today’s lineup of books I need to get to ASAP:

🐉 Unbound by Penelope Bloom
🖤 The Ascended by Greenwich and Lennox
🌊 Sea of Shadows by C.M. Gilvere
🔥 A Wrecking of Salt and Fire by E.K. Kondo
💀 A Spell of Bones and Madness by E.K. Kondo
🐲 The Dragon Has Some Complaints by John Wiswell
🌙 The Song of Salt and Shadow by Seren Rose

Have I read them? Nope. Am I already hyping them up? Absolutely. 😂

Because LOOK AT THESE COVERS. 😍 And the descriptions have me intrigued, my curiosity is officially activated, and my TBR is out here acting like it doesn’t already have 947 other books waiting for attention.

Someone please give me 48 hours in a day, because at this point, I need to read faster than my book-buying and book-adding habits. 📚💜

Tell me which one I need to pick up FIRST!

Good morning, you feral book readers! 📚☕️

May your coffee be strong, your fictional men be morally questionable, and your real-life responsibilities be willing to mind their own damn business today. 💅🏻📖

That is all. Carry on, you beautiful book-obsessed weirdos. ✨🖤💜🌙

Let’s talk about my morally gray men. 🖤🌑

Rhysand, Azriel, Cassian, Erik Bloodsinger, Tiernan Callaghan, and Xaden Riorson.

The questionable morals? ✔️
The red flags? 🚩
The dangerous reputations? ✔️
The morally questionable decisions? Absolutely. 😂

And would I pick them anyway? EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

What’s one morally gray man you know is a walking red flag but would choose every single time? Drop it in the comments below! 👇

Here are 4 horror books I gave 4 stars that deserve a spot on your spooky season TBR. I’ve read them, I enjoyed them, and I’d recommend every single one.

Save this for your next creepy read! 🖤

This weekend, I stopped by Charter Books in Newport, Rhode Island!

I love exploring independent bookstores, and this cute little indie is a must for fellow book lovers! From new releases and signed editions to staff picks and bookish events, there’s plenty to discover. 🖤

Always happy to support local bookstores and find another excuse to add to my ever-growing TBR! 😂📖
