3 months ago I decided to sign up for the Malibu triathlon, skipped the sprint and went straight for the Olympic distance. I trained my ass off for 3 months and then was told on Monday I had bronchitis. Thursday morning I woke up feeling the worst I had since getting sick and spent the whole morning crying deciding whether I would need to back out of Saturday’s race. I decided to push through with the help of an inhaler and support from friends and family. Today I completed my first triathlon, in the pouring rain 😂. I feel so many emotions right now, this triathlon meant so much to me after a couple of rough months and everyone made this such a special experience for me. Thank you to everyone that has reached out and supported me through everything and all my best friends that showed up to support me today it means the world to me. And a big thank you to @alexchase2069 for teaching me to swim and coaching me through all of it ❤️ WE DID IT! by @kernoy

Rang the bell on 03.11.26 🔔The end of chemo and the start of a new chapter.I truly could not have done this without all the love that surrounded me these past months. The prayers, messages, check-ins, and all the friends and family who showed up for me from all over the world meant more than I can ever explain.Thank you for carrying me through the hardest days. I’m endlessly grateful for every single one of you. Onward to healing and recovery 🤍And one important note ladies, please get checked. Early detection saves lives. Around 99% of breast cancers are survivable when caught early. Advocate for yourself, stay on top of your screenings, don’t wait till 40, and don’t ignore your body.
