It always starts with a line. ✍🏽
A sketch becomes a silhouette, the silhouette becomes a garment, and eventually the idea I had in my head becomes something you can actually wear.

This is one of my favorite parts of designing — watching the evolution from concept to creation.

Twenty years ago, I was doing Model UN, convinced I was going to become an international business lawyer. Fast forward to today, and I found myself at UNGA—not as the person I thought I’d become, but as the designer and founder grew into.

I had the opportunity to announce the Kerri Alise Travel Capsule during UNGA—a seven-piece travel system created for women who are always on the move. I pretty much created what I needed.

And tomorrow, October 1st, pre-orders officially open.

Life has a funny way of taking you in directions you never expected… and somehow bringing you right back to where you started, just as a completely different version of yourself.
