im so happy to announce my commitment to florida southern college for a bfa in musical theatre!

thank you tooo…
-@melon921, you have been with me for every step on this wild ride of a college audition process. filming, clicking start on my music tracks and being there for emotional support all at the same time. you even somehow found two different areas for my dance auditions. thank you for supporting me in my dreams and being my biggest cheerleader.
-@liv_savannah_southwick for being my self tape dance buddy and teaching me a whole dance and ballet combo. your patience and support eased my nerves on what was the hardest part of prescreens.
-@gracekellykretzmer at the beginning of this process i quite literally had no idea what bfa programs were located in florida. grace made me a whole list of colleges and what they offered. thank you for all of your help and for answering all my questions about this process.
-@korlissuecker thank you for being there for me throughout high school and college auditions. you’re truly just the best.
-@reginamezzo thank you for your encouragement and advice on every step of the college audition. you’ve helped me walk into my auditions with confidence.
-everyone i have met at the island theater (i wish i could tag you all lol) thank you for encouraging me to pursue theatre as a career
-and finally thank you to God, thank you for loving me and allowing this opportunity to happen!

i remember one of the first fiddler rehearsals outside of the theatre and seeing the amount of people there i wasn’t sure how i would get to know everyone. but slowly but surely this cast became a family. i have so many memories of dancing and lip-syncing backstage, bringing blankets to rehearsal and doing my stage makeup three times a show. thank you to the cast and production crew (@pianoartist1 @bashcelcher @sarahgraycecrouch). to my twin colleen, it is always a joy to share the stage with you! i hope our audiences not only enjoyed the show but learned about the hardships jews faced then and today and are inspired to stand up to antisemitism. and finally….mazel tov!!! taken in The Island Theater by @kerryhunterperforms

what an absolute blessing this show has been. anya’s journey reflects my own in a way: when pain comes there is always a light at the end of the hall. i could not have asked for a better cast and crew, thank you all for your kindness and support.

lastly to anya, you taught me to keep pursuing my dreams and that i had the strength inside me all along ❤️ taken in The Island Theater by @kerryhunterperforms
