Richy P - my number one riding buddy and adventure sidekick. What a guy. 🖤

Cycling in Spain just fills my cup, and has helped spark my huge road love affair that’s started this year.

Recent scenes from a visit to Granada. This area was a massive and excellent surprise. I’ll be back for sure.

Belmont hill climb spectator rave today to keep warm while we waited to shout things at fast legends like @rob_borek by @kerryjago

La Pandera - the beast. There have been so many amazing climbs on this Andalucia trip so far, but this one is a highlight.
The Vuelta will be summit finishing stage 14 here next week. I can’t fathom the speed they’ll be going. Something super human no doubt.

Oh the Eryri Highland Trail.

A short but spicy MTB route, with tech ups and tech downs, including up and down Snowdon - it couldn’t be more up my street if it tried, and it’s gone down as the best UK bikepacking route I’ve ridden to date.

We did it over two days which was brilliant as we had plenty of hang out time, but I’d definitely be keen to do it in a one and go light on the kit.

These brilliant ladies made it faff-free and fun. It’s a pretty great feeling when the group feels like a well oiled machine. Would 100% like to do another with you lot. 🌟

Perfect golden summer evenings. Just asking for a melancholy spin.
2026, so far you’ve been utterly ridiculous. # by @kerryjago

One of those mornings where I feel so blessed to have landed in Bristol, and built a life here.

Flanders. I wasn’t really sure what to expect here, but after getting really into the spring classics recently, it was firmly on the hit list.
It took a couple of days to get into it, and to realise that the way to ride Flanders is to do routes that make your Strava ride look like a frantic scribble on the map.

I loved the punchyness of the climbs, I loved how mad the cobbled sections are, I loved that all the small roads had perfect tarmac. Definitely recommend, unless you like your rides to all be above an average speed, in which case, it may not be your bag.

Even more respect for the pro riders and their INSANE times on the segments round there. They truly are super human.

What an excellent weekend doing something a bit different. We rode to Thruxton Race Curcuit to watch truck racing and it was excellent fun. I didn’t even know it was a thing, but Richy’s enthusiasm for it infected me as it usually does with these mad-brained ideas and I’d 100% go again. by @kerryjago

2025 the year I started to finally sort my shit out, after a couple of years of weird aimless meandering.

We all go off course from time to time. But recognising when you’ve steered toward the edge of the cliff, and turning the wheel back in time to avoid catastrophe is a good life lesson.

On course, or at least starting to see the route again. Keep on pedalling. 🙏🏻

Girona. This place has firmly taken the top spot of my favourite places this year. Such a beautiful and interesting city.

I’m not a roadie but it’s made the perfect base for deepening my understanding and love of road riding, its history, romance and prestige. Girona I’ll be back.

Sometimes you just have to end a cycling holiday with a total tank emptier, and it might aswell also be the longest ride you’ve ever done.

It was such a great feeling climbing to higher elevation after a week of Girona’s amazing but smaller hills.
Vallter 2000, you were excellent.
