Hi friends! While I was out walking this evening I was reminded of the block I made a few years ago. Back in 2022 we had replaced the decking boards on our dock and had left over boards. I wanted to try and make something so, Tommy cut them up for me. So, I sanded them, painted them and drew a variety of different things on each one. I came to the last piece of wood and discovered something had happened to this piece of wood while being cut. The bottom is not straight so it doesn’t sit flush and kinda wobbles cutely when touched.😂 Even so, I thought I could do something with it! This piece of wood was absolutely perfect for the hand-lettered statement “Life is not perfect” Lettering on real imperfect wood is not easy!😳 It was a great reminder for me then and still now that nothing in this life is perfect; except Jesus! Ohh, I am so thankful for His covering and for His great love for me and all His children. Loved perfectly while so flawed. I don’t want to strive for perfection in the things I do but always hope to keep improving and keep shining!🌟 Peace in this imperfect world always flows down from above!☝️ Life’s not perfect and never will be but keep looking up, friends! by @kerryrossartillustration

Hi Friends, Remembering my beautiful friend, Tonya Breedlove. I am so blessed that God chose to add Tonya to my radius. Her life story is remarkable and truly aww inspiring; she glorified God with every single step (and she walked a lot of hard but joy filled steps) shining brightly with her persevering gentle spirit, glory filled smile and twinkling eyes, and her tremendous unshaken spoken faith in our Living and Loving GOD. Just flying by to say, Hi friends!🤗 A little of my story…. I started drawing cute things daily in 2020 with the simple hope of adding a little joy to my family’s day. I absolutely fell in love with it and the peace that surrounded me as I created.
God’s living Word ultimately brings me joy and peace and these days I need His peace more than ever. Earlier this week I was reminded of these hopeful things; that you and I are chosen and dearly loved and that these hardships or hard days are only temporary. For my heart to align more with His heart I need both time in prayer and His Word (bc it’s not always easy to love others)😳 I am so thankful for these reminders from 1Peter 1 to go in peace and love others and Philippians 4:6-7 is a fav of mine during hard times.
I never once thought or dreamt I would be an artist but I am so thankful and believe God led me down this bright joy filled path lit before me! Hoping peace surrounds you today my friend!
