Grateful to be trusted as part of the performing arts at @dayzero_bali , the first edition of this iconic international electronic music festival in Indonesia, held on 17 April 2026 at Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park.

Kerta Art was honored to represent Indonesian culture, especially Bali, through a large-scale performance involving around 200+ dancers. Together with fellow artists and creative communities, we brought a diverse range of expressions to life, including Ogoh-ogoh, Wayang, Bhuwana Agung, Legong & Dewi, Baleganjur, fire dance, flowers dance, carnival, and the iconic Payung Merah.

This moment became a powerful meeting point between global electronic music and the spirit of Balinese tradition, where art moves beyond boundaries and becomes a shared experience.

Thank you to Day Zero Bali for the trust, and to all artists and collaborators who made this experience possible.

A few days ago, the stage of Ubud Yowana Festival witnessed the flight of Garuda Emas.

Inspired by the mythology of Garuda, the choreography carries the spirit of strength, courage, and the journey of reaching higher while staying rooted in tradition.

Through the energy and dedication of Kerta Art’s young dancers, this performance became more than a moment on stage. It became a reflection of how tradition continues to live, grow, and be reimagined by the next generation.

Thank you to everyone who shared this beautiful moment with us at Ubud Yowana Festival.
May the spirit of Garuda continue to rise. 🌿✨

Kerta Art is honored to be trusted to perform on the first day of the Nusantara International Folklore Festival, held on 26 September 2026.

The festival gathered artists from across the archipelago and from various countries, creating a vibrant space for cultural exchange. On this occasion, Kerta Art presented Legong to Future, a contemporary dance adapted from the classical Balinese Legong, brought to life with a touch of glow in the dark body painting.

Performed by the students of Kerta Art, this piece shows how a traditional form can be explored in new ways while staying rooted in its origin.

A meaningful moment to share Balinese dance with an international audience.

Thank you to @nusantarafolklore for the opportunity and trust. We are grateful to be part of this celebration. ✨

"Authentic is your power."

In Ubud with a special collaboration with the light and bubbly contemporary Balinese dancer, Ayu @yuanantha .

Of course visiting her would NOT be possible without hitting the streets and meeting her brother in Canggu, @delsymanuartha and his wife @dithamarini19

In this video, Ayu describes what she does @kerta_art , her philosophy, and how dance impacts her life and the life of her students and family.

Thank you to @jiro_putra for allowing me to stay at your lovely property parashati_ubud
