nahhhh

yes, it's not superhuman. it's not a mystery. but it's not a dud either. anyone who says so has an agenda that they are quietly pursuing.

here's my little rant on bad journalism around it and some explanation of what the current state of ai progress looks like.

the second picture in the post is an AI edited image. The only thing I told the AI was to remove the bag and improve aesthetics

this is a new "version" of image generation tech, different from what's been the trend for the past 2 years. Google released it last week, and chatgpt will likely follow by the end of the month.

i like the OG me. but i'm kinda glad i tried this because now I know i should get a plain black shirt. by @keshavatearth

ChatGPT now costs 10x more. The Plus plan ($20/month) is still there but on day 1 on OpenAI's ShipMas, it launched the full version of its reasoning model o1 (an alien of extraordinary abilities) with the new Pro plan which is $200/month.

I am debating whether I should get it. by @keshavatearth
