March 9, 1948 - September 8, 1995

Today, September 24, 2025 marks 30 years since our mother was laid to rest. Sis. Wolete Zion, Sis Evadney Willis, Sis, meant the world to us. She was not only a mother to us, but to many other children, She was a mother, a daughter, a grand mother, a sister, an aunt, a grand aunt, a godmother, a cousin, a friend. She was all those and so much more.

Her death was so sudden, at the age of 47, we lost a precious gem, the Matriarch, the rock and foundation of our family. But we never lost her love and the memories we shared.

30 years later, we feel her spirit always present. We carry on her legacy, her lineage grows stronger, we see her in our children and grandchildren. We remember her gentleness, her genuinity, her unconditional love.

Mama Evadney lives on with each passing day. As "to live on in the hearts of those left behind is not to die". We will be loving her forever world without end.

Today, September 18, 2025 makes it 21 years since the passing of our son, our brother, our uncle, our cousin, our friend Kirk Walters (aka Micky Or Refugee). He was the twin brother of Keith Walters aka Bigga. He was a great singer, an athlete, a comedian, a kind and wise brother. He was talented. He loved Michael Bolton songs and was excellent at singing them. Gone too soon mi bredda. But we will never forget him. Rest in power rest on in peace Micky- our Beloved❤️🌻💚💐🌹😭 by @keteis
