I know- eating saturated fat sounds risky! 😳
⠀
But here’s the truth: 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹. Your body 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲.
⠀
And despite what we were told for decades, new research (and many doctors) are showing that cholesterol from foods like beef, butter, bacon, and eggs doesn’t automatically equal heart disease!
⠀
In fact, saturated fat tends to raise the 𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲, 𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗳𝗳𝘆 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 of LDL particles (the kind that 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻’𝘁 linked to heart disease)-
while sugar & excessive carbs increase the 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹, 𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 (which 𝗮𝗿𝗲 linked).
⠀
When I cut processed foods & sugar my numbers actually got better…
𝗠𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗹𝘆𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱, 𝗺𝘆 𝗛𝗗𝗟 𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘂𝗽, and I felt better than ever!
⠀
If you’ve been afraid of cholesterol… maybe it’s time to take a second look.🤓 by @ketocoachmo

Cheat days seem like the perfect balance.
A little reward. A break. Then back to being “good.” 🍪

But here’s the truth:
They often undo a lot of progress-
𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆.

Cheat meals turn into cheat weekends. And cheat months. 🔄

They reawaken cravings, spike your blood sugar, mess with your mood…
and 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘁.
But when you’re truly nourished, 𝗷𝘂𝗻𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗽. 🥩✨

If cheat days keep pulling you off course, maybe it’s time to try something new.

If you feel like you’re 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 reaching for a snack… your body might be trying to tell you something! 🧐

Maybe your last meal didn’t have the 𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 to hold you over.
Or your blood sugar is crashing.
Or maybe it’s just been a 𝐝𝐚𝐲, and you need a little comfort. 🍫

There’s no shame—just a signal to pay attention to.

As a coach I really 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 snacking.
Not because snacks are “bad” (though they 𝐝𝐨 spike insulin and make it harder to stay in 𝐟𝐚𝐭-𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞)—
but because skipping the snacks helps you figure out whether your meals are actually 𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐣𝐨𝐛. 🍳🥩🥑

When you start understanding why you’re hungry, everything gets clearer. Awareness is key!💥 by @ketocoachmo

The craving.
The compulsion.
The familiar pull to grab something- anything- for that sugar high.

If you’ve felt this too- I see you.
And I want to share 3 things that helped me stop sugar cravings before they even hit:

1. Prioritize Protein
Building meals around protein helps reduce overeating by stabilizing blood sugar.

2. Add Ceylon Cinnamon
Cinnamon helps regulate blood sugar and reduce cravings before they even start.
Sprinkle it into coffee, yogurt, or even savory meals!

3. Don’t Fear Salt
Low minerals can trigger cravings.
Adding quality salt to your meals satisfies your body before sugar starts calling your name.

You don’t need more willpower.
You need a plan.

I’d love to help! 🎉 by @ketocoachmo

When someone says, “I can’t do keto- it’ll raise my cholesterol…” 😳

I get it - that fear is common! But cardiologist Dr. Aseem Malhotra (and many others) have shown that 𝐋𝐃𝐋 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐩𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞! ❤️‍🩹

The fear of saturated fat and cholesterol came from 𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐞𝐝 𝟏𝟗𝟓𝟎𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡—𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐜𝐤.

What really matters?
✅ Insulin resistance
✅ Triglyceride:HDL ratio
✅ Inflammation
✅ Metabolic health

Low-carb diets reduce inflammation, improve insulin, and shift cholesterol to a healthier pattern! 💥

𝐋𝐃𝐋 𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐮𝐩? That doesn’t automatically mean danger- 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬.

Honesty hour: I’m a keto coach who rarely cooks. 😬

And guess what? I still eat well- and stay on track- because I keep it simple!

No fancy recipes. No long hours in the kitchen. Just real food that fuels my body.

Here are 3 go-to meals I make in under 5 minutes when I’m hungry:

🥫 Tuna or Salmon salad
Canned fish + mayo + mustard + furikake (seaweed seasoning) = Try it in a lettuce wrap or eat it with a fork!

🌮 Quick quesadilla
Shredded chicken or steak + cheese melted inside an EggLife tortilla or low-carb wrap. Pan-fry both sides- done in minutes!

🥒 Deli roll-ups
Deli meat + cream cheese, wrapped around a pickle or cucumber slice. Wrap it, roll it, done!

This is how I stay consistent-
not perfect, just practical.
Because eating healthy or low carb shouldn’t feel like a chore!

What are your go-to easy recipes, share in the comments! 🙌 by @ketocoachmo

Ever feel stuck on breakfast? 🤔
Ground beef + eggs + cumin = warm, savory flavor that hits the spot.
Add sour cream. Salt + pepper. You’re done!
Simple, filling, and supports healthy blood sugar! ✨

I make a big batch of this at the start of the week and reheat as I go. So easy! 💥 by @ketocoachmo

Your body was designed to wake up with light — not caffeine. ☕️

Morning sunlight signals your brain to produce the right amount of cortisol, critical for energy, mood, and metabolism! ✨

When you skip this natural signal and rush to slam coffee instead, it sends mixed messages to your body’s clock — leading to fatigue and afternoon crashes. 🥱

Remember: Light first. Then coffee.
(Bonus points if you eat too!)

Small shifts can make a big difference.
You don’t have to be perfect to make progress — even a few minutes of morning light helps! ☀️

Keto and Carnivore are both low-carb paths that shift your body into fat-burning (ketosis). 🔥

The difference?
Keto allows for some low-carb veggies and more variety,
while Carnivore is a more focused approach—no carbs, all animal-based. 🥩

Some do best with variety.
Others love simplicity. 💁‍♀️

Some choose Carnivore to really address inflammation and autoimmune symptoms.
Others just want to cut sugar and shed some weight.

There’s no one-size-fits-all—and no judgment.
Keto isn’t necessarily “easier” than Carnivore, and Carnivore isn’t “better” than Keto.
They’re just tools.

I coach both—and I help people figure out which one is best for them! 💥

As a Keto coach, I believe food is foundational—
but when you move with intention, your nutrition works even harder for you!

That’s why I love IWT:
Interval Walking Training.
You alternate 3 minutes of easy walking with 3 minutes of fast-paced walking—for only 30 minutes!

You’ll walk fewer steps than a 10,000-step day… (ABOUT 1/3 OF THE STEPS and get way better results)!

It’s true—a large Japanese clinical trial (10,000+ participants) delivered these results when COMPARED TO those walking 10,000 steps!)

✨Lowered blood pressure (up to 9-point drop in systolic BP) ❤️‍🩹
✨Improved insulin sensitivity (better glucose control) 🩸
✨Better fat-burning (higher post-exercise fat oxidation) 🔥
✨Improved VO₂ Max (more oxygen = more energy) 💪

Don’t walk harder.
Walk smarter.🤓

It wasn’t just stress.
It was habit.
It was comfort.
It was my body begging for balance.🙏

Most people think sugar addiction is just about self-control & willpower.
But no one talks about the real drivers behind cravings—
the brain chemistry, the dopamine hits, the emotional triggers…
and the shame spiral that follows.

It’s not that you’re weak.
It’s that your body is calling out for stability.

Keto gave me that.
And it can give you that too!

Cutting carbs sounds restrictive…
Until you realize you’re not thinking about food 24/7.

You’re not counting down to the next meal- or snack.
You’re not burning all your energy resisting cravings.
You just feel good. Steady. Satisfied.💪

You don’t realize how loud the food noise is- until it’s gone.

That’s food freedom.💥
