17 years ago, I met my best friend, my love, and the man I would build my life with. ❤️

Today, we have a beautiful little boy, two furbabies who complete our family, and a lifetime of memories behind us with so many more still to make. 🥹🐾

Life hasn’t always been perfect, but looking at what we’ve built together, I feel nothing but gratitude. We’ve grown, changed, laughed, cried, and created a little world of our own.

17 years later, and I’m still grateful that life brought us together. ❤️

Grief hits you when you least expect it. 💔🌊

One day, you’re happy, living your everyday life, and the next, you’re drowning in sorrow, wondering what life would have been like if your mum were still here.

The conversations you’d have, the memories you’d make, the advice you’d ask for, the hugs you’d still be able to get. All the little things you wish you could share with her.

Grief is like waves in the ocean. Some days, the water is calm, other days, the waves knock you off your feet. You can’t stop the waves from coming, but you learn to swim through them, one breath at a time. 🌊

And no matter how much time passes, a part of you will always miss the person you were never ready to lose.

And just like that September is over 🫣what a busy month this was ❤️
Met my lovely zebra 🦓 friend @leemaria1111 and spent finally some time with @jas_mohamed_ali 🥰
Cooked some delicious 😋 food for people I love 😍 celebrated my ex bosses’s 40th wedding anniversary♦️had a dance 💃🏻 with @yazie_b & saw again @akajoey @mrs_emma_smith @timelessvideobytessa 🥰
Went to Camden town for the last time with mum before she left to go back to South Africa 🇿🇦 and it was very emotional 😭
The night before she left, she read a Bible story to Harper and I couldn’t resist…they looked very cute in bed and I took a video snippet 🥹🙏🏽
