Being fat is a choice. You either chose to stay fat or you chose to make a change

It’s never too late to make a change.

10 years older and I look 10 years younger than the first photo

I hated the first picture on this collage, was on a stag do in Benidorm and didn’t realise how much of a fat shite I’d become until I got home sobered up and saw that photo.

Saturdays men’s doubles with Marcus -
New Age group record and 7th fastest time ever.

Sunday men’s solo endurance. Shit time but got the win and another age group record.

I could write a list of reasons why it was a shit time but no1 gives a fuck about your post race excuses or debriefs. You had what you had. And you got what you got.

Paladin - What a comp. Great event and full of really good people

Worlds secured. Now the real work begins. šŸ”„

57:20 in Sydney. Second-fastest APAC age-group time.

Next target: the APAC record and the podium in Hong Kong. šŸ‡šŸ‡°

Nic and Kev are just getting started.

Leave No Doubt.

ā€œBeing part of the PRVN HYROX Project Worlds Team has completely elevated the way I approach my training and racing.

Project Worlds is more than just following a training program. It means being part of a team of athletes who share the same ambition, hold themselves to a high standard and are prepared to put in the work required to compete at the highest level. Having that environment, accountability and support has pushed me to become a better and more complete HYROX athlete.

The programming has given every session a clear purpose. There is a genuine plan behind the work we are doing, from building the engine and developing strength to improving compromised running and becoming more efficient across every HYROX station. That structure has allowed me to train with greater confidence because I know each block is moving me closer to the athlete I need to be on race day.

In Sydney, Kev and I raced Pro Doubles and finished in 57:20. That performance qualified us for the HYROX World Championships and was the second-fastest APAC time in our age group.

Qualifying for Worlds was a massive milestone and something we are incredibly proud of, but the result has also given us even more belief in what we can achieve. We know there is still another level in us, and being part of Project Worlds gives us the structure, support and competitive environment needed to find it.

The goal from here is simple: continue putting in the work, break the APAC age-group record in the lead-up to Worlds and stand on that podium together in Hong Kong next season.

Sydney was an important step, but it was not the final destination. We are proud to have qualified, grateful to be part of the PRVN HYROX Project Worlds Team and more motivated than ever to see how far we can take this.

The work continues. Hong Kong, we’re coming.ā€ by @kev_marson

Gotta be honest I was kidding myself

3 months of no running, I can’t sit on a bike in zone 2 for 8 hours a week and do 1 compromised running gym session a week and the weekly mikko triangle and think I’ll be be able to PB when most mornings I couldn’t even walk without limping. I should have been more realistic with my goals.

(Just enjoy the day you’ve not trained good enough for a time and deep down you know it fatboy)

I’ll never feel as bad as I did in those 4 races

Feet up with the fitness now. Time to build a buisness drop some weight and fix this foot.

Quick trip to Sydney for a ticket to Hong Kong.

Foots been fucked for a while so decided this was gonna be a quick all in for a worlds spot. I’ll take the time hands down to say I’ve trained once since Sweden.

Good to have a run out with @nicpetersoncoach , plenty to work on but plenty to be happy with too.

World Champs 2026.

These aren’t the times I came for but these are the times I got. Getting here is an achievement in itself but you get out what you put in…

Hyrox is humbling to say the least but 44th fastest men’s double and 64th fastest in my age group solo. In the whole šŸŒ isn’t something to feel sorry for myself about. by @kev_marson
