2025. This year has been an incredibly fulfilling journey, and I’m truly grateful for all of it. Earning my brown belt in Jiu-Jitsu was a moment of pride that I’ll cherish forever, and it’s taught me that you can achieve anything when you put in the hard work and set your mind to it. I’m thankful for the chance to have hunted my first moose, a milestone I never imagined I’d reach. I feel lucky to have witnessed some amazing international DJs live, filling my year with unforgettable music and energy.

One of the most special moments was welcoming Winston into our lives. Sharing that experience together, learning, adapting, and growing alongside him has been incredibly rewarding and brought a whole new kind of joy into our daily life.

I’m deeply appreciative of how my friendships and my relationship with my partner have grown stronger and more meaningful. And I’m especially grateful for the opportunity to cap off the year with an incredible backpacking adventure through Belize and Guatemala. It’s been a year of amazing experiences, and I’m so thankful for all of them—and for the reminder that with determination, so much is possible.

Up at 2:15am chasing a Tikal sunrise… met only fog and the roar of howler monkeys. Still walked among ceiba giants, Temples I–V and countless others — Temple IV is also seen in the movie Star Wars episode IV. The largest Maya city ever and protected by UNESCO.
