Man, I’m feeling this today.
Weary Traveler.
I was inspired by a @splice loop so I created around it.
I used @toontrack EZBass Americana for my bass tracks. I used a few @nativeInstruments plug-ins for the Pedal Steel and the electric guitar. Exciting times. Enjoy your weekend.

Semi-dry drums again using @bigfatsnaredrum quesadillas and cowmoo on the @buckscountydrums Oak relics. @sabiancymbals , Legacy and Complex series all around for the shine. by @kevin.soffera

🥁Drums only🥁
Had questions about the drum production.
Went with a dead sound on these @buckscountydrums Oak Relics with my signature raw steel snare with the use of @bigfatsnaredrum quesadillas on toms and
🐄cowmoo🐮 on snare 🥁
Not using any ambient microphones except the overheads a little. Mostly all close mics.
Also using @soundtoys Decapitator plugin on hi-hat for some crunch.
In some of the sections I’m using just a drum bus that is getting only kick, snare and hat being affected by @xlnaudio DB-30 DrumButter🧈
to create a drum loop vibe.
Also relying on a transient designer to tighten everything up…
Any other questions, hit me up

@sabiancymbals Legacy and Complex series on this track for the crispy wash!!! by @kevin.soffera

Any @deathcabforcutie fans out there? I created this song today in the style of Death Cab. Besides playing drums on this one I also played my @fender Jaguar bass running through an Ampeg SVT plug-in. Not too shabby.

Lofi on purpose

I was feeling these vibes today while writing some music syncs. Enjoy my early morning after coffee production. by @kevin.soffera

Here are the “drums only” from yesterday‘s performance. I left the click in so you can hear all my subdivisions.
Since this was a Nümetal type of vibe, I wanted to stay on the click hard and very little dynamics except for some of my ghost notes.
It doesn’t get more naked than this lol. Lots of minutia going on to make this groove happen. by @kevin.soffera

Sorry not sorry. I went all in with the scratching, The KLANK and the NüMetal.
My wrist hurts so why not test it out.
All gööd.

Winners here are @splice , @joeysturgistones Hellraiser bass plug in for the KLÄNK, Toneforge, @toontrack , @buckscountydrums , @sabiancymbals smacking, @direct.sound , @vaterdrumsticks by @kevin.soffera

I was browsing @splice loops for inspiration for a pre-pro session today.
This is what we came up with.

@buckscountydrums Oak Relics with signature raw steel snare
@sabiancymbals Stratus Dry Cymbals 15” hats, 20” crash, 22” ride, 19” crash.
@evansdrumheads G1’s
@yamahadrumsofficial hardware
@vaterdrumsticks 5B wood tips
@bigfatsnaredrum original
@direct.sound EX-29 headphones by @kevin.soffera
