A coconut truffle cake, inspired by one of our favourite chocolate bars BOUNTY. This was one of our more challenging motion productions to date, with a lot of planning going into every sequence, from the props, backdrops and lighting to the movement and final edit. It took plenty of trial and error to get each shot just right, but seeing everything come together in the final film made it worth it. Shot for @rashmisbakery summer flavour launch. #FoodPhotography #FoodVideography #CommercialPhotography #TorontoCreatives #TorontoFoodPhotographer by @kevinb_creative
A little spec ad we put together for Poppi Orange Soda. We wanted to play with those complimentary orange and teal tones and really lean into the colour, fizz, and texture of the drink. Shooting with a macro lens let us get right into the details, from the bubbles to the condensation and everything in between. Some of the clips definitely took more takes than we’d like to admit, but seeing it all come together made it worth it. Always fun turning a simple product into something that feels bigger on screen. What product should we play with next? For this shoot with EZeats, we wanted something that felt like a real game night, not just food sitting on a table. So we used this blue tiled backdrop by @clubbackdrops, pulled together a mix of board games, dice, cards and little details, then spent some time moving everything around until it looked “random” in the right way. We also added the hand reaching in with the fork to give the shot a bit more life and make it feel like someone is actually sitting down for dinner. Are you a pasta lover, let us know in the comments? Bringing Rashmi’s Bakery’s Summer launch to life with our signature bold, vibrant, and playful vibe! 🎥 A project like this takes weeks of careful planning every step of the way: Pre-Production: Setting the visual direction, mapping out moodboards, and planning shot lists to capture the brand’s personality. Production: Bringing high energy to the set—focusing on dynamic lighting, crisp staging, and capturing every delicious texture. Post-Production: High-impact color grading, precise editing, and pacing designed to grab attention on any feed. One of those awesome shoots where colours, texture, and good food do all the talking. Had a blast creating these images for our client Wonton Crunch and making those crispy wontons look as good as they taste. Not every commercial shoot needs a complicated set. For this one, we kept it clean: a can of Poppi Orange Soda, some fresh oranges, and a monochrome colour palette that did all the talking. The goal was to make the product feel as refreshing as it tastes. A lot of what makes a shot like this work happens behind the scene. We used a four light set up, a star filter. We made tiny adjustments to the lighting using bounce cards and flags making sure every detail on the can stays sharp and readable. One frame. Hundreds of little decisions. We share a lot of our food and product photography on here, but yes, we photograph actual humans too. 📷 Here’s a little peek from one of our shoots with Haven Greens. Clean, commercial-style imagery that puts the focus on both the product and the people using it. Because honestly, what’s a great brand shoot without a little human energy in the frame? There’s something about adding models that makes a brand feel more alive, more relatable, and way more memorable. Do you like incorporating people into your shoots, or do you prefer keeping it product-only? Let us know in the comments. by @kevinb_creative
Shot this launch campaign for Wonton Crunch with a mix of packaging and lifestyle content, all done in under a day. The brief was to capture images to feel bright, fun, and snackable while still keeping that clean commercial look. From the warm tones to the crisp shadows and styling, every detail was built to make the product stand out naturally. Always fun stepping into projects like these and helping brands bring their products to life through strong visuals. When brands want their products to feel relatable and aspirational, lifestyle photography is key. For this campaign with @havengreens, our focus was to highlight freshness and convenience while creating a scene that feels authentic and inviting. Bright greens, natural interactions, and a cozy setting helped bring the brand’s message of simple, healthy eating to life. Thoughtful styling, lighting, and composition transform a product into a story people can see themselves in. Looking to do a new campaign. Not your average office lunch desk! We built a full monochromatic green setup so the salad plate with cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and textures could pop. Every object from the clock to the lemon juice was placed with purpose.
