Wow. It’s been a crazy few years. From loosing loved ones, going through life struggles, to getting hit by a drunk driver and having screws put in my neck. My mind mentally has been all over the place. I know I haven’t really posted much content and to be honest mentally and physically I wasn’t in the best space to create. Having to deal with doctors and lawyers and the stress that comes with it all the last thing I could think about was picking up a pencil. God has really been good to me and this is a reminder to get back to what I love.
You never know how your life is going to go but sometimes all you can do is keep fighting. Now that I’m able to get back to a somewhat normal life I’m ready to get back to what I love. To everyone who has stuck around I say thank you. I’m really excited about some things I have planned for this year ☺️ by @kevinks18

This is how my snow day went…deep dish apple pear pie with a shortbread crust and a cinnamon sugar crumble 💪🏽…this things weighs almost 6lbs 🤯 and the taste is out of this world! I’m not just a pencil artist but I’m also a culinary artist…I’ve been baking since I was a kid it just wasn’t always as good as it is now 🤣…I haven’t posted in a while due to some personal things that I can’t go into too much detail about but I’m glad to be back to a somewhat normal life again. More artwork on the way as well!

Today I turned 37 years young. Times flys because I remember when I was just a boy running around getting into trouble lol. The older me has gotten much more quiet and peaceful but I still have that Leo in me lol. I have learned so many lessons on my journey and continue to learn the older I get. Yes I haven’t posted much art or anything tattoo related in quite a while because I have had so much going on behind the scenes and mentally I needed to recharge. But through everything I thank God for allowing me to still get up everyday and still work towards my goals. I have a lot of things planned for my 37th milestone and I can’t wait to get started! by @kevinks18

Wow man I’m still not processing this 😭😭. I remember us as kids running around outside. Never did I think that I would be making a post like this. I think back on some of the conversations we had and I’m glad we had them even the tough ones. Sometimes we question why God does certain things but at least I know you’re in a better place. Make sure you spend time with the people you care about while you can. It’s so easy to get caught up with work chasing a dollar but you can’t get time back. Rest In Heavenly Peace Cuzzo. It’s been quite some time since I started a new piece. I’m back at the lab and I have a few pieces lined up for something in the works for 2025. I had to stop by @blickartmaterials and get a roll of @archespapers for something a lot larger then what I’m use to doing 👀

My first self portrait in the books. The most challenging part of this drawing was the beard and the tattoos. It’s one thing to draw someone else but the pressure is on not to mess up your own face lol. I may do this again down the road lol.

Close up shot of some detail work on this self portrait. Added some texture in the lips and I think I like how my nose looks at this point. It’s weird drawing yourself but also satisfying in a way. You start to focus on things that you probably never really paid attention to lol.

When doing any type of hair I usually like to start with a base layer first and then build up my black. Doing this for me helps with getting a more consistent result. Hair is one of the most challenging things in my opinion. What’s something you struggle with when drawing??
