ON SALE today. From Playboy to Prodigal Son. If you haven’t gotten your copy yet, today’s the day.

Still not convinced? Don’t take my word for it. Read the reviews on Amazon. Readers are calling it honest, hard to put down, and full of hope. Right now it’s sitting at 4.9 stars.

This is the story of a man who looked like he had it all and still felt empty, and how God met him there. Raw. Real. Redeemed.
Grab it while it’s on sale at AMAZON. Link in profile: httpsi://a.co/d/05sgBm8j by @kevinkuster

Where has 40 years gone?
When we walked the halls of Montini Catholic High there were no cell phones, no social media, no YouTube, no Amazon, no AI, no electric cars. Just Izod shirts, parachute pants, Duran Duran on MTV, mix tapes we made for each other, teased hair held together with what felt like a can of hairspray, and acid-wash jeans. Life really did feel like a John Hughes movie; messy, insightful, innocent, and somehow perfect!

What has never changed are the hearts of these faith-filled, kind, and loving friends. I am so grateful I grew up when I did, and even more grateful that God placed me among the people in these pictures. We have all changed on the outside, of course we have. Forty years will do that. But what remains is the same desire we carried then, to love well, to laugh often, to leave the person standing in front of us a little better for having been in our presence, and to try, in our own imperfect ways, to make this world a little better for the next person.

Happy 40th reunion, my fellow Bronco brothers and sisters. We missed any and all of our out of town Broncos classmates who couldn't attend. To those who have already gone home to heaven, we felt your absence, but we also felt your presence. Your spirits were with us.

Thursday night just got a lot more interesting. This Thursday, September 24 at 7:00 PM, I’ll be at St. Dennis Church in Lockport sharing the story behind From Playboy to Prodigal Son, the long, messy, grace-soaked road from a life I thought I had all figured out to the one God actually had in mind.

Come for the stories. Stay for the hope. Leave knowing you’re not too far gone or alone.

St. Dennis Council of Catholic Women and the Knights of Columbus are hosting. All are welcome, bring a friend who needs to hear that redemption is real. by @kevinkuster

Ancient cities remind me that despite feeling older as the calendar of my life turns, I still possess a young man’s passions. I fantasize about scaling the defensive walls, scanning the horizon for the advancing enemy, judging whether our towers were built tall enough to withstand the frontal assault.

Would I have led from the front as a courageous and bold leader, or been a common foot soldier, born and bred as cannon fodder? I do not know. My mind projects as I wonder and dream walking the polished stone streets that have endured for fourteen hundred years, as I devoure gelato searching for a restaurant with that life-altering modern invention called air conditioning, to escape the 99° Mediterranean heat.

I am soft. Yet in the romanticized projections of my past, I am as hard as the times required. Even old men have young memories in Dubrovnik. taken in Dubrovnik - Old Town by @kevinkuster

60,000 celebrating mass, in Medjugorje, at St. James. Youth Fest, 2026. Can you see where Sherry Kus and I are sitting? by @kevinkuster

The trees parted for just a second. I was ready. Rolling past on our bus, camera up, and there it was, Dubrovnik’s ancient walls rising from the Adriatic.

Red roofs packed tight inside the fortifications, boats cutting across cobalt blue water, the whole walled city shining under the Croatian sun.

When I showed the image to Sherry Kus, she said "how did you get that?" Sometimes the best frames aren’t planned. They’re gifted in between the obstacles if you are watching close enough.

You can never control when you'll be given an opportunity, but you can control how prepared you will be when an opportunity comes. taken in Dubrovnik - Old Town by @kevinkuster

You can’t make this up!! While traveling to Medjugorje, I ran into my friend Andrew King (a key person in my book From Playboy to Prodigal Son) best friend Brad from high school in the airport, and guess what book he was reading? CRAZY! The odds of that happening must be a billion to one.

Perhaps we’re resisting for all the wrong reasons. Perhaps we’re focusing on ourselves. When we surrender and embrace the realities of His presence, He reveals His spirit in small wonders that defy the odds. taken in Dubrovnik Airport, Croatia by @kevinkuster

What an unforgettable event! On Sunday, we gathered with friends, family, and supporters to celebrate the launch of From Playboy to Prodigal Son. To sit in that room, surrounded by love and support, and share the story of God’s blessing is something I will never forget.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, lifted this project in prayer, purchased the book, left such kind reviews, and shared your own stories of hope and healing. The outpouring of positive feedback has been overwhelming, inspiring, humbling, and deeply encouraging. Your words remind me again and again why I finally said “yes” to writing this memoir: to help even one person find freedom, identity, and the Father’s love faster than I did.

To my wife @sherrylynn737 , my family, Fr. Black for the powerful interview, the incredible team at @dynamiccatholic / Viident, my agent @joedurepos and every single one of you walking this journey with me, thank you from the bottom of my heart. None of this would be possible without your support.

If the book has touched you, I’d be so grateful if you’d share it with someone who needs hope right now. God is still writing redemption stories, and yours is next. by @kevinkuster

Happy Birthday to My Beautiful Wife! If you have ever encountered Sherry, you’ve been in the presence of an angel. Not the kind with wings, a halo, and a harp (and definitely not the chubby variety). She is a real angel, walking among us.

Sherry carries a joy that is not of this world. I’ve come to see it as a true charism from above. She loves intentionally, feels deeply, and comforts others from a place so pure that they don’t just feel understood, they feel truly seen and known.

The greatest expression of her heavenly joy is her smile. That smile could launch a thousand ships, tenderly touch the most closed and hurting hearts, and draws people to her in the most irresistible way. And I am blessed to be the greatest recipient of her infectious joy.

She sometimes humbly recoils when I share these insights with her, however, I know it’s only because of her beautiful humility and her concern that she isn’t always perfectly happy. To which I alway think, of course you’re not! A rainbow is always most brilliant and beautiful after the rain.

On this special day, I would like to ask that you shower Sherry with all the love and warmth she so freely pours out on everyone around her. Let her feel celebrated, cherished, and deeply loved, because she deserves every bit of love she freely showers on others.

Happy Birthday, my greatest joy, and the love of my life. I thank God every day for the gift of you Sherry Kus. by @kevinkuster
