Welcome Home Kevin Stein (‘23) 🧡🏡

After graduating from SUNY Orange in 2023, and going on to continue his career at McKendree University (NCAA D2), Kevin returns to SUNY Orange to join the coaching staff - bringing not just loyalty, but elite experience and a winning pedigree.

At Orange, Stein averaged 17 ppg both seasons as a Colt while leading the nation in assists as a freshman and 3pts made as a sophomore. He also lead the Colts to the program’s first National Tournament Final Four appearance during his sophomore season.

At McKendree, he was a major contributor playing big minutes as a junior and starting all 28 games as a senior while averaging 14 ppg and 4 assists.

We are extremely excited for the return of this all-time SUNY Orange great. Welcome home, now officially, Coach Stein! taken in SUNY Orange by @kevinstein11

It’s hard to accept that it’s finally over, especially since our season ended earlier than we wanted it to. However I wanna thank my family, friends, and teammates for all the memories and everything they’ve done for me. We’ve accomplished a lot these past 4 years and these will be my brothers forever🤞🏼. Thank you Chester basketball for the love and support since day one. It will always be love from #11 ❤️ by @kevinstein11
