While in Nairobi, I had the pleasure of staying in this thoughtfully designed Forest Light Retreat apartment, which felt like a specially curated art gallery. 😍🎨🖼

Interior and art designed by renowned artist El'Cesart. This is one of his many, beautiful creative spaces.

Bucket list ✅️

I've always wanted to visit Kenya since a child.
I believe it was simply the name, Kenya.
It resonated with me. Maybe because it's similar to my name, but while sitting at my desk in grade school, staring at the world map, Kenya always stood out to me amongst the other African countries.

Fast forward to a shower curtain I had in college. It had places on it like Paris, Nairobi and New York. My eyes would always land on Nairobi. I would often say to myself "I wish I could go there one day." That day has come. Now, I'm here! On an African safari! 🤯

Real wildlife, no animals captured in cages on display called a zoo.

Sometimes things and places may seem so far away or unattainable but they truly aren't. All you have to do is take the first step!
