Dear Princess Demi,

From the very first day I learned about you, something in me shifted. You gave me a reason to grow, to heal, to dream bigger, and to become the woman you deserve to call “Mommy.”

I find myself wondering what you’ll look like, whose smile you’ll have, what your little laugh will sound like, and what it’ll feel like the first time you wrap your tiny fingers around mine. I can’t wait to finally meet you. Every kick, every hiccup, every little reminder that you’re growing inside of me makes me fall even more in love with you.

You have already taught me patience, unconditional love, and a strength I didn’t know I had. Because of you, I strive to be kinder, wiser, more faithful, and more intentional every single day. You are already my greatest blessing and my biggest motivation.

I promise to protect you, pray for you, cheer for you, and love you through every season of your life. I won’t be a perfect mom, but I will always be your safe place, your biggest supporter, and the one who loves you without limits.

One year of doing hair… wow. This still feels surreal.✨

I thank God for this entire journey. Every client, every lesson, every late night and early morning — I prayed for this. I asked God to place me exactly where I needed to be, and He answered in ways I couldn’t have imagined.

This year taught me so much — patience, discipline, confidence, and trust in myself and in God. The long nights, the early mornings, the moments of burnout, the times I questioned myself… it was all worth it. Every sacrifice carried purpose.

I couldn’t have done this without my support system — my family, my man, my clients, and everyone who believed in me even when I was still finding my footing. Thank you for showing up, encouraging me, and trusting my hands.

Year one is officially complete, and my heart is full. I’m so proud of how far I’ve come — but I know this is just the beginning.

Here’s to Year 2… greater growth, deeper faith, elevated skill, and everything God has in store. 🙏🏽✨
