Happy 6th Anniversary to the love of my life. Today, I want to celebrate just us—the moments we share outside of anyone else …even our children (and i loveeee them lil suckas 😂)…..BUT i realized it is our LOVE that forms the solid foundation,even for them…So, I want to honor us for who we are to the kingdom and who we are to each other FIRST. You are my rock, my confidant, and the best partner I could ever ask for. We see God honor our marriage everyday, and I am endlessly grateful for the bond we share. One of the coolest things about watching God work is seeing all the ways He proves us wrong. 😌

Before starting this project, I told myself I couldn’t work on cars. I thought I didn’t have enough time to see it through. And honestly, I doubted if I could even afford to make it happen.

But God had other plans. He reminded me that material things don’t really matter—but when you do things in the right order, it’s amazing how He allows you to achieve what you thought was impossible.

What a humbling reminder that sometimes, we just need to be corrected. 🙏🏽

As I looked back through pictures from this past year, I realized just how many versions of you I’ve gotten to witness…😭😭 and how WELL you’ve carried each one.

You’ve traveled, you’ve leisured, you’ve worked hard, you’ve led, you’ve fathered, youve friended,you’ve brothered, you’ve sonned, you’ve uncled, you’ve husbanded, you’ve discipled,you’ve trained, you’ve learned new skills, you’ve rested, you’ve been intentional and have done all these things with passion this year and I’m so proud of you.

I hope you reflect on these things too and when you look in the mirror you see a MAN that’s SUPER 🦸🏽‍♂️, because I do. Cheers from the front row seat of all your growth…😭🚘

Some kids just have….it. In the 2000’s Bow Wow was a kid that I wanted to be simply because of that….the it.

I never would have guessed that I would have an opportunity to experience what I looked up to so closely.

Knolyn is an adjective. Knolyn is an experience. Knolyn is one of my role models.

My soul is full from the fruit you’ve let me savor over the past decade. A bite of your presence in ‘16 filled me in a new way and quickly became my favorite food. You @okstarshea have been the depiction of choice fruit. You’ve brought me wellness, energy, stamina, detoxification and vision.

I hold you all the time asking myself, am I overindulging? Yet God says, “More, My son.” You’ve given me an appetite that hungers for you and seeks you on every menu.

Being that you are reserved for me, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude that eight years later, I still get to call you mine. Through every sweet moment, every hard conversation, every stretch of growth, and every laugh that filled our home, you’ve remained God’s evidence that love can both nourish and transform a man.

8 years married,10 years of friendship 💍

When i think about us …it’s clear we are covered by Gods grace Himself….we are steady, intentional,committed to one another …never loud or performative …just us no matter what room we are in. Between life’s pressure, our children,growth, mistakes, discovering, healing,laughter, and late nights…we’ve built something real, something that can withstand time. Knowing our children get to experience a marriage built on Kingdom makes my heart smile deep. They get to witness marriage built on principle, prayer,love, community, forgiveness, and teamwork….

Baby, thank you for being my best friend first, my husband always, and the kind of man our family can follow.

This is her…..

The artist who painted a legacy for me I never knew could be this breathtaking. I watch you paint joy on the walls of our home every single day with passion, tenderness, and intent.

The way you love our babies leaves fingerprints on their hearts. You can see it in their confidence, feel it in their laughter, and hear it in the way they love others. The art you’ve created with Kam, Knolyn, and Kiyomi is like braille. It can be seen and felt.

Thank you for making our house feel like home and our family feel covered in love.
