Hey! I’m Dana, the owner and driving force behind Keyed Up Events! It’s been a very long time since I showed my face on here so I thought I would say hello and give you a little info about me:

>I worked at the State Fair for 16 years managing the Food Building and Grandstand, so this time of year is always a little nostalgic for me. If you are wondering if I can handle the chaos of your wedding, I would say the Fair was great training for that!

>It’s been too long since I have traveled out of the country but I have been to Eastern Europe, Ireland and Egypt! Recently the ring I got in Egypt was damaged so I hopped on here for suggestions and per usual, Instagram delivered.

>My favorite part of working out the details of the wedding is helping couples figure out their ceremony processional order and who is sitting where. I know, it seems kind of boring but there is actually a lot of thought that needs to go into those decisions, particularly if there are challenging family dynamics.

We have very limited 2024 availability left but are booking for 2025 and beyond so send us a message, we would love to help! by @keyedupevents

One of our most popular posts and blogs from 2023 is back with a 2024 version! We are sharing real numbers from some of our weddings this year to help give couples a better idea of what they could be spending. If my partner doesn’t cry the way Damon did when he saw Zollie on their wedding day, I don’t want it.

Zollie & Damon are two of the kindest, loveliest people I’ve had the honor of working with. They are the kind of people who make everyone around them feel seen and cared for and I can’t wait to convince them to move to Minneapolis so we can be friends for real.

Vibes were high at A&R’s wedding at the Avalon in St. Paul. Working with couples (especially fellow artists!) who want to create something incredible and unique for their celebration is the best part of this work.

Also this wedding wins for the most memorable mother of the groom entrance, ever. 💃
