All I see Is Darkness Music Video Out Now! Link in bio

This is the first song I ever wrote about two years ago when I had a calling to start this journey, this piece unpacks the challenges I go through as I try to find balance in this life and how I learned to find beauty and purpose in the depth 🖤

Dark on the Surface… Beauty in the Depth 🖤

A Sculpture I created last year opening up the discussion of Melanin to take a closer look at our biology and to show that black 🖤 is not just a shade nor colour but the spectrum that holds all.

- Melanin the living spectrum.
It’s much more deeper than the colour in our skin, it’s what connects us to life’s experience from the outside and within,
It is a biochemical polymer that drives our physical, mental🧠, emotional and spiritual life. 🪇🏃🏾
It takes on diverse forms throughout nature, from soil to plants, animals🐃 and the atmosphere.🍃🌊
Within and outside us, it allows us to absorb energy, like how we process the suns energy into nourishment for our bodies☀️, in plants this is called chlorophyll.🌿
From sound 🔊 to light💡and much more, melanin transforms this energy into vitality for us to thrive.
Melanin plays a big roll in our connection to life. 🖤🌱🌍

Your spirit will live through us forever, the impact you had resonates through the community, the joy you spread through peoples hearts inspires us today, to be better, to do better, and never let this world take away your smile.
You won’t just be remembered for your amazing talent in music but also the way you carried yourself, the respect and love you showed people.

It’s only right we created this mural where you once played and called your home, we honour your life through this💜

More love always to the family and my bro @elliotjrdge the love and strength they’ve shown, making sure his life is truly celebrated is a true testimony to Eddie and family he comes from. The endz will never be the same without you, you were a Healer, a Leader and a Brother to many, we will never stop letting the light shine on your name☀️

Growing up around drug addiction and substance abuse I seen the impact it has on one person and the community around them, but more importantly where is stems from..

As I move forward this year, there are so many things to be grateful for from last year, to travelling the world with the woman I love @nadiajames_ and officially becoming property owners, giving us the opportunity to turn a house into a home, breaking the cycles and building a strong foundation for family 🏡

That family that extends beyond something so intimate, being able to share parts of my story with people that have inspired me on my journey and being on the ground in other ghettos where distant relatives are, are constant reminders of the work that needs to be done… but the doors that have been opening are always reaffirming that I’m on the right path

Music being a new path in my creativity, never something I’d thought to do but happened so naturally like it was a calling.
It’s been an amazing year connecting with the my city and other parts of the world, from being on @resident.music writing camp, opening up for @_bawo 👊🏾 and performing in front of people like @kennyallstar it shows the strength in what I’m doing.
I’m really doing this for my people, a way to be a vessel for love and truth to restore back community🌍.

Looking back, last year was all about stepping onto the other side of fear, what happens is transformative, becoming someone I never thought existed and seeing how much more love there is to share with one another through the things we’re blessed with.
Everyday challenges us, but what we’re left with is our spirit, our character, never let the system break you, change the cycles of pain into purpose.

The world is ours 🖤🌍 by @keyfromsp
