Happy 8th Birthday to the most amazing daughter in the world. It’s hard to believe you’re already such a big girl. Life will humble you real quick… Life is really too fuckin short, man. 💔 I just got news that my cousin Junior aka Guero passed away a couple days ago… only 34 years old. A girl dad. Father of 4 beautiful daughters. Funny as hell, goofy, full of life, the type of dude that could make everybody laugh without even trying. Gone way too soon. This is now the 4th loss I’ve gone through within the last year and a half, and that shit really puts life into perspective. We truly never know when we’re gonna take our last breath. How many times do we tell family or friends, “We gotta link up soon,” “Let’s catch up,” or “I’ll hit you later”… and it never happens? Yeah, life gets busy, we all got responsibilities, but at the end of the day it’s on us to make time for the people we love. Because one day, that opportunity might be gone forever. Don’t take your people for granted. Don’t let pride, grudges, or petty bullshit stop you from making things right with somebody you care about. Because if you wait too long, you may never get the chance to get that clarity or get that weight off your chest. So hug your loved ones extra tight. Call your people. Tell them you love them. Everybody got different beliefs. Politics, religion, whatever. And honestly… a lot of what’s been going on around the world has been hitting me heavy. I’ve wanted to speak on things for a while, but I stayed quiet because I wasn’t trying to deal with extra drama, opinions, or people getting in their feelings just because we might agree or disagree. But lately… some of the stuff I’ve been seeing and hearing has been way too outta control and I’m over it. So I’m just gonna say it: I could give two shits whether you’re conservative or liberal… I’m still gonna love and respect you as a person, even if we don’t see eye to eye. What I can’t stand is people blocking real blessings or positive opportunities especially when it’s about uplifting our kids and building a better future for the next generation just because someone thinks different. We don’t gotta agree on everything to stand together on what truly matters. The hate, the division, the way people turn on friends and family over opinions… that ain’t strength… that’s broken. We’ve reached a point where disagreement gets treated like betrayal and that’s a dangerous place for any community or nation to be. We can challenge each other’s ideas without tearing each other down. We can stand firm in what we believe while still choosing compassion, grace, and collaboration. These kids are soaking up everything they see from us right now… the good and the bad. We gotta do better. Let’s choose unity over ego. Progress over pride. Love over hate because building a better future for the next generation will always matter more than proving who’s right. I love people for who they are… not for how closely they think like me.
