Story time ✨My first celebrity client was Amil from Roc-A-Fella Records.I was visiting my friend/hair Clients Dara, Chaka, and Iesha at the Roc-A-Fella offices. (we’re still connected today) Dara told me Amil needed help. A recent color service had caused significant breakage to her natural hair, and she was starting a two-day shoot for β€œDo It Again” the very next morning.I was nervous, but Amil was incredibly sweet and trusting. Together, we decided a wig would recreate the look of her long natural hair before the damage.We went to Patricia Fields to find the perfect wig, then to the legendary @juneambrose home, where she styled Amil’s wardrobe for the video. The next morning, I installed the wig on set.Looking back, I’m reminded how one referral, one opportunity, and one person believing in your work can change everything.Forever grateful to Dara for thinking of me and to Amil for trusting me with such an important moment.#πŸ”‘π–”π–“π–™π–π–Šπ–‡π–Šπ–†π–™ by @keys_rebelle
