A fun little mini stage for both 2-Gun and single-gun setups.

I wanted to put together something similar to the mini stage from @delta_bravo_sol …Unfortunately, most of the target tracks weren’t operational, so I couldn’t get the three targets down the middle the way I originally envisioned. On top of that, the range is limited to just 15 yards. Nonetheless, we made it work with what we had and built something fun around those limitations.

To add a little more difficulty with the rifle, I opted for the head boxes. Depending on the targets available and the distances your range permits, this is an easy way to increase the challenge without needing much additional space. For the rifle-to-pistol transition, I also incorporated a magazine drop after the final head box to ensure the rifle was left in a safe condition before moving on to the pistol.

Looking forward to getting out to an outdoor range, opening up the distances, and seeing what else we can build with more room to work. taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @keystone_dynamic_solutions

Took our first trip out to @alphawhiskeytactical to teach a 1 day intro into dynamic CQB, and Mechanical breaching.

Officers hit the deck running with multiple reps inside the house understand the principles of dynamic cqb and execution. We focused about 10% of the course on the class room to focus more on practical application skills and reps to get these officers familiar with the concepts.

Hats off to a facility that’s up and coming in the keystone states.

Last week we started out active shooter work up in Morgantown West Virginia, first step to this work up is data gathering and base lines.

We begin the program with an initial data-gathering and evaluation phase. Not every officer has received the same training, and individual skill levels, experience, and decision-making abilities can vary significantly. Rather than assuming a common baseline, we evaluate each officer across multiple areas to establish measurable starting points and identify areas that require additional development.

Firearms and Tactical Evaluation

Officers are evaluated on:

* Weapons safety and safe handling
* Fundamental rifle and pistol skills
* Live-fire performance
* Time and accuracy during shooting evaluations
* Hit Factor scoring to establish measurable live-fire performance
* Tactical movement and positioning
* CQB techniques and fundamentals
* Time and accuracy during CQB evaluations
* Target identification and engagement decisions
* Communication during engagements and movement
* Teamwork and coordination
* Control of the situation
* Decision-making under pressure
* Application of previously learned tactics and procedures
* Overall knowledge and understanding of the techniques being evaluated

Medical Evaluation

The medical portion evaluates the officer’s ability to assess, prioritize, treat, and communicate during a casualty-producing incident. Officers are evaluated on:

* Application of the MARCH algorithm
* Identification of primary injuries
* Identification of secondary or previously missed injuries
* Patient assessment and treatment priorities
* Triage of multiple patients
* Identification and establishment of a Casualty Collection Point (CCP)
* Movement and organization of casualties
* Communication of patient status and treatment information
* Coordination and communication with EMS
* Ability to provide an patient handoff to responding medical personnel

The information collected during these evaluations provides a measurable baseline that allows subsequent training to be tailored to the needs of the individual officers and the department as a whole. taken in Morgantown, West Virginia by @keystone_dynamic_solutions
