Keystone Trails Association was established in 1956, and for 70 years, we’ve grown from the grassroots up, powered by people who care deeply about trails, the land, and the communities they connect. To mark this milestone, we’re inviting friends and supporters to make a $70 gift for 70 years. Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps us care for trails, build partnerships, and create opportunities for people to experience the outdoors. As a special thank you, anyone who donates $70 or more between now and the end of the year will receive a 2027 KTA wall calendar. 👉 Donation link is in our bio! by @keystonetrails
More than 50 hikers, trail advocates, conservation organizations, outdoor recreation partners, and supporters from across Pennsylvania gathered at the State Capitol Monday for Keystone Trails Association's inaugural Hike Harrisburg. First Lady Lori Shapiro joined us to talk about the importance of safe, accessible trails and the volunteers who work year-round to care for them. Pennsylvania has more than 14,000 miles of trails. Hike Harrisburg was a great reminder of what can happen when Pennsylvania’s trail community comes together with a shared purpose. Thank you to everyone who joined us, helped make the day possible, and continues to care for trails across the Commonwealth. Participating organizations included Appalachian Mountain Club, Appalachian Trail Conservancy, AT Museum, Audubon Mid-Atlantic, Blue Mountain Eagle Climbing Club, Cumberland Valley Appalachian Trail Club, Keystone Trails Association, Mid State Trail Association, North Country Trail Association, Pennsylvania Environmental Council, Pennsylvania Outdoor Business Alliance, Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation, Trust for Public Land, and WeConservePA. by @keystonetrails
