Happy 12th birthday to my guy Matteo!

I thank God every day for blessing me with this kid. He’s kindhearted, smart, athletic, funny, and has a heart that makes me proud beyond words. He also gets me in a way that very few people on this planet do, and that bond is something I’ll never take for granted.

It’s hard to believe it’s been 12 years already. Watching him grow, seeing his personality come to life, and getting to be his dad has been one of God’s greatest gifts to me. 🙏🏾

Blessed is an understatement. I thank God for him, for the young man he’s becoming, and for every single day I get to call myself his dad.

I’m honored and excited to be the keynote speaker at the 2nd Annual Fatherhood Legacy Luncheon on August 20 in Flint. Opportunities like this are special, but what means even more is the chance to support my mentor, my fellow Spartan Dawg, and my brother, Shon Hart.

@shonhart_ , what you’ve built through InvolvedDad is more than an organization. It’s a movement that’s strengthening fathers, empowering families, and creating a legacy that will impact generations. I’m proud of you and grateful to be part of this mission.

Look words cannot express enough of how humbled I was this weekend. I was beyond blessed to receive the @proathletecommunity “Champion Award”

As a child I always wanted to be a professional NFL football player. Eventually I had to accept the fact that it wasn’t in my cards. Eventually when I began the internal healing process, God told me that in fact that I was going to go pro, but not the way I thought I was going to go.

I tell you, God has fulfilled His promise to me. He has given me the opportunity to not only serve NFL players, but to serve some of the most amazing professional athletes from across all sectors. This weekend, God gave me my draft day on center stage and it was my dream come true.

I almost ugly cried, I cried, but that ugly cry was brewing 😂😂😂. Thank you @pacaccelerate @keytravis13 @kalebthornhill_pac and @chippaucek for this honor and they couldn’t have selected a better person to present me with the award, @jakellampman 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 This community is absolutely incredible! by @keytravis13
