In the midst of a world attempting to silence her, she clawed her way out of the overgrowth and into her rightful place as Queen.

Ruler of a land ruined by man and rebuilt by her very hands, she stood atop the mountain, looking across the fields and she smiled and said to herself, “Glory.”

Keep the faith.

This one is called Sunshine.

I wrote this song on the subway back when I was working in Encino at a dental office. Those mornings were brutal waking up at 4:30 AM and working a 10 hour shift. I left my house when it was dark and I came back when it was dark. But one of the beautiful things about that time period, was that I had an opportunity to carve out close to four hours a day to writing and creating even if it was on the subway.

And that’s what I did I wrote songs on the subway on the way to and from work. I used that time to read books. I used that time to just breathe.

I think that’s what a lot of life is about, taking those sour moments and making them into something sweet. There’s value even in our toughest moment always. taken in Arch Street Tavern by @keyzbelieveme

2025 was wild asf.

Literally came in HOT. This year I got my car, built my credit, and finally had savings.
I got my passport, left the country, and performed in Japan for the first time.
I performed at Soul Sunday in San Diego.
I ran my first Spartan Race (3K).
I relocated my eldest to LA.
I started going to church and fasted a few times this year.

I saw Kendrick Lamar from floor seats.
I saw Cleo Sol live.
Went to the Magic Castle, the LA County Fair, museums, beaches, and hikes.
I drove to Vegas, San Francisco, and San Diego.

Professionally, everything shifted.
I started my business and finally let go of the idea that what I’m doing isn’t real work — because it is.
I got my first sync placement in a film headed to Sundance.
I got my first feature with a Grammy-nominated composer.
I met so many dope artists and began working one-on-one on a project I’m really excited about.

It’s been challenging, but looking back, I can see God had it all covered the whole time. No matter how hard things felt, I was always going to make it through.

Going into the next year, I know I’m okay — no matter what it looks like.
God is making room for bigger blessings.
