My sweet Skye 🤍

I don't know how I'm supposed to put a lifetime of memories into one post, or how I'm supposed to say goodbye to you when you were such a huge part of my life.

You were my baby. You always seemed to know when I was hurting, and you'd curl up against my stomach as if you somehow knew exactly where I needed you. You'd yap at me when it was time for me to go to bed, and I swear some of your strangest little meows sounded almost like you were saying my name or saying hello.

I was the only one who you'd let get to hold you like that. You'd sleep on my chest, and I'd wake up to find you sitting there looking down at me. You'd make biscuits on your fluffy blankets, drink from the bathroom tap or from the little tub in my room, lick my face giving me kisses, shed an absolutely ridiculous amount of fur, and become obsessed with the lint roller. Even just yesterday we watched the red arrows fly past from the bedroom windowsill. Theres so many more things I could mention too.

I'll always remember you meowing like crazy underneath my bed before you were spayed, catching a butterfly right in front of Riley, and all the countless tiny things you did that I never thought I'd have to remember without you.
Even when you woke me up because you were being sick, or yapped at me when I was supposed to be sleeping, I'd give anything to have those moments back now.

You were so loved, Skye. More than I could ever put into words. You weren't just my cat. You were my baby, my little companion, and a piece of my home.

I hope wherever you are now, there's a warm blanket, a bathroom tap, and someone who will let you make as many biscuits as you want.

How did we end up here?

We spent 10 years saying, “one day we'll do this,” and somehow, that day finally arrived.

10 days of matching tattoos, countless photos, Chester Zoo, train journeys and buses upon buses, shopping, photoshoots, late-night talks, American Horror Story, so much music, and memories I'll be keeping forever.

Funny how a friendship that started through being utter 5sos fangirls could take us to eating dinner and watching 5sos Hot Ones Vs, in 5sos shirts after just getting 5sos tattoos.

10 years of knowing each other, 10 days of actually being in the same place, and somehow neither of us killed the other. I'd call that a success. 😂🖤

Happiest of happy birthdays to my soul sister, my safe space, and my gorgeous best friend, I hope you have the best day. You deserve the world and more. This past year, you have been one of the most amazing people I've ever known. The support and love you gave me have been overwhelming, and I hope I can provide even half of that back to you. I love you so much, queen. I couldn't have ever chosen any other person to be my witchy sister, in this lifetime, the next and in every incarnation 🖤 🤟🏻😘

Dear 2025,

You were a year of many highs and many lows, the year has been a blur of the good and the bad, but from where im standing right now, I wouldn't change a thing.

This year I learned that some people believe what they want to believe, but if they dont like you, who cares? I learned that the people who are meant to stay around, will show it in more ways than one.

I've learned so much about myself, learned to love myself a little more, be kinder to myself and also feel more confident in my style, dressing how I like, because it's what makes me, me.

Thank you to my family and my wonderful friends, though I like to think of you all as my family too, i dont think I would have gotten through this year without you. I've also met so many wonderful people this year too, who have all been amazing, thank you for your kindness aswell

2026, Year of the (Fire) Horse I am ready for the passion, creativity and growth you offer, and I am also ready for the trials you throw my way.
