Hey Siri, does imposter syndrome affect your ability to celebrate the small wins?

“Yes, imposter syndrome can lead to a pervasive sense of self-doubt, making it difficult to acknowledge and appreciate progress. Instead of recognizing achievements, individuals with imposter syndrome may attribute them to luck or downplay their own contributions.”

So here I am, a year and a half later and finally letting it sink in that I had four photos published in @slushthemagazine and I am damn proud of it.

I said it back in 2021 after @brainbowlsessions but @69max420 and the rest of Tre Squad aren’t just preaching inclusiveness, they’re practicing it. It’s been absolutely incredible to witness their growth, especially since teaming up with @mtbakerseshup. It’s pure magic to be surrounded by 500 or so like minded individuals in the name of snowboarding. With no lift ticket, no entry fee, and no real barrier to entry, Brain Bowl is for the people, by the people and one of the purest examples of snowboard community out there.

Through sessions where you’re spending so much time hiking and building and actually hanging out with people, you can strengthen relationships on a more meaningful level. Maybe someone up there brings a camera and gets a sick shot of you, or teaches you a new trick, or lets you borrow their gear if you don’t have any, then all of a sudden you feel like you’re a part of a community. Those are the moments that deepen the experience. 🚲 The Bike Fest has found a new date! 🚲

It’s no secret that open dates are hard to come by during summer in Big Sky, so we’ve made a little pivot. Join us on Tuesday, August 18 for a scaled-down version of the inaugural Big Sky Bike Fest!

Think of it as Big Sky Bike Fest: Mini Edition. Fewer bells and whistles than originally planned, but all the good vibes, great people, and bike-loving fun you’d expect. The party starts at 4:05p at the Town Center Bus Stop for a group ride down mountain to meadow (or Hot Dog) with us and @traildogs_bigsky. Later on we’ll all gather at the Community Park Jumpline for music, drinks and grilling (and of course, more biking)

Fun weekend in Bozeman for the @belgianwaffleride Montana stop. Racing this close to home is always hard to beat!

6th on the day for me. I missed the move halfway in and paid for it the rest of the day. Killer rides from the homies/training partners @hayden.christian.599 and @elliot_thornblade (on his @mondraker.usa Arid🤟) going 1–2, which honestly made my race!

I’m still dealing with the post Unbound stomach bug after effects, so the legs aren’t quite firing on all cylinders yet💀, but things are moving in the right direction 📈

The 8th Annual Beehive Banked Slalom is officially in the books, and my heart is full.

What started as a small gathering of friends with a shared love for snowboarding, community, and springtime turns has grown into something truly special. Year after year, this event continues to remind me why I do it — the people, smiles, energy, and the deep sense of community!

To everyone who came out to ride, cheer, volunteer, shovel, rake, build, sponsor, document, DJ, bbq, keep the vibes high, and help make this event happen: thank you. This event simply would not exist without all of you.

Watching every generation line up together, from first-timers to lifers, is what makes the Beehive Banked Slalom feel so special. We even had a family of 5 all show up and race this year, plus a huge crew from the Tetons.

To the "Digger Crew"— you are the backbone of this event and it simply couldn't happen without you. Your hard work made the weekend possible and I can't thank you enough.

To our sponsors — thank you for believing in grassroots snowboarding and helping us keep this event alive and thriving.

Eight years in, and it still feels as magical as the first.

We’re already dreaming about next year. We're doing a design/art contest for the event and everyone who submits art will be a part of a physical art show! Until then, keep supporting your local snowboard shop, and keep showing up for one another.
