Ok I hated my other meet the bookstagrammer photo soooo I’m updating it 😂💖

So anyways, hi I’m Klaudia I live in Ireland and I’m obsessed with ice cream 🍦I’m pretty sure I started this account in 2024 in May, but I’ve an awful concept of time!

I love to read a lot of romantasy/fantasy/romance

My fav books are the Empyrean Series, Daisy Jones and the Six, Empire of the Vampire & Divine Rivals

I’ve a bunch of fav authors but some include Rebecca Yarros, Taylor Jenkins Reid, Ali Hazelwood & Jay Kristoff!

I read to definitely escape reality and I wish I had a dragon! I wish I also had more time to read lol

📚𝓹𝓲𝓬𝓴𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓪 𝓫𝓸𝓸𝓴 𝓽𝓸 𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓭📚

I tried to do the pick a song on Spotify trend with Goodreads instead but having no dark mode feature (that I know of??) is kinda hard!!!!

Currently I’m reading Under the Iron Sky (thank you @penguinbooksireland for the arc!) I’m about 100 pages in and WOW the action!! Loving the stakes so far

Video review bc yes I love it SO MUCH

I loved this so much!! It’s a gripping, gothic romantasy that is so well written that I couldn’t put it down. I had such a fun time reading this.

I loved the story and its development. We follow Leena where she tries to find medicine to treat her ill brother. She tried everything and there was only one option left : go and ask for help from St. Silas. St. Silas loves secrets though, so he makes a trade with Leena : the medicine to treat her bother for one of her secrets. Leena shares her biggest secret with him, which is that she sees ghosts. This interests St.Silas because he needs to find a specific ghost as he owes him something. Story takes off from there

I did find the story medium pace, I found the chapters short and I was gripped right from the beginning. I think the writing is excellent, really just flows.

The romance is perfect!! This is an enemies to I think I really like you, and in my opinion it is true enemies to ‘lovers’. I found St.Silas not to be a complete meanie like in some other books I’ve read where in the true enemies to lovers, the MMC is just an outright MEANIE ! The romance is VERY slow burn and no spice. But it is in my opinion still very romantic. I LOVED the very slow shift to ‘lovers’, I think this was really well done. I find in other books this shift from enemies to lovers just switches too quick, but this had a perfect burn and lead up to it. I am using ‘lovers’ because I think it’s more ‘I think I have feelings for you’

The setting was also my fav, the world is gritty, gothic and moody. Weavingshaw sits on a cliff surrounded by the sea and forest, weather is awfully wet and gray. I loved the atmosphere of these places.

There was also a huge theme of immigration in this book, which I could definitely understand and relate to at times. Really happy to see this being mentioned and be such a big part of a book.

I can’t wait for book 2, I need it NOW! The cliffhanger 😭 I genuinely can’t stop thinking about this book

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

OMGGGGG I LOVEEEEDDDD THIS!!!

I feel like I haven’t read a romantasy in a while and this was sosososoo good. I loved the story, the magic, the pacing and the constant action just EVERYTHING!✨

We’re thrown into a world where there are fae,sages and humans. Humans hate and are at war against Sages, the fae are kinda far away so they couldn’t give two cents about this war. We follow Reya who is this amazing witty thief. She is doing a job for her boss and things don’t go to plan. She now owes him A LOT of money. She needs to get this money or else she will be his personal assassin for the next 10 years. She needs a plan and luckily a very hot guy walks in talking about this gem that’s worth a lot of money.

I felt like this book was fast paced, and had high stakes which is exactly what I love in a book. There was not a dull moment. I loved the battle scenes and we even get a battle at sea which was SO much fun 🌊⚓️ and of course, the romance was so good. It is your very usual broody hot MMC warrior type of guy, but I’m down for that so no complaints lol!!! I loved Reya, she is witty and doesn’t take shit. I loved the magic system, it was quite easy to understand but was cool to learn about it. I’ve no idea how many books are in this series, but I NEED MORE!!!

EEEEKKKKK!!! Arrived home to the most exciting book mail the other day !!!! These are also my two reads for August!! Thank you @penguinbooksireland for the copies of these amazing books! 💖💖💖💖

I’ve started Steelborn and I’m nearly 100 pages in. Right now it’s kind of fast paced - we had a heist and it’s full of thievery moments. I’m absolutely loving it!! I think if it continues like this it’ll be a 5 star read 💘

Next I’ll read the sweetest fiend, I’m so excited!!!

This year I’m really trying to read slow and take my time imaging the world and scenes in my head and I’ve been loving it!

◦•●◉✿ what I read this week ✿◉●•◦

I’m planning on doing a weekly wrap up from now on 💖did I stick to my tbr ? Sort of I read a bit of He Who Fights with Monsters and Forever, Interrupted

So far I am liking HWFWM I like the essence magic and I I just found out of the familiar so that’s fun

Forever, interrupted is a heart breaking book but it’s excellent. I do love listening to the audiobook for TJR books, I just love Julia (the voice actor). If you’re planning on reading this book, prepare tissues! I’ve about 2 hours left

I also started reading the price of fear and so far I’m really liking it!!! I can see the book in my mind which I’m loving !!!
