We married 9-9-66 at the age of 19. He turned 20 the next day. Today is his 80th birthday & I’m sure he’s having a wonderful time celebrating in Heaven. Happy 60th Anniversary in Heaven, honey! ❤️ We had lots of years together but not near enough! Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you over & over. There is something in everything around me that speaks of you. I miss you so much! 💔 I was in Sacramento the first of August to visit some close friends … Fred & Chris Hartley .. & I was able to get a picture of the chapel where we got married. Darcy Abbott was 14 years old when she played the organ for our wedding. Lots of memories. He asked me to marry him & 17 days later I did! ☺️ Time was flying by. We had to hurry back to Texas Bible College to finish school. 😁 God knew what He was doing when He put us together! We were meant for each other. We were happy together. I sure did enjoy my time with these ladies at the Inspiration Tea Room! Long time friends & my sister Bonnie, which is my friend also. 😉😊 So good visiting with Sis. Howard & Sis. Bracken! We went to the Outlet Mall then stopped by Starbucks! Such a fun & enjoyable day!! 💖 by @kgramma8

This sweet man always enjoyed life. Even if he was struggling with his health & didn’t feel good he still tried to enjoy the moment. This was one of those times. This was his last Valentine Banquet & a few weeks later he went Home. He made every holiday fun & made me feel so special. I miss him incredibly. Today marks the 10th anniversary of your passing. The missing you & loving you has never lessened. 💔 A friend of mine @joyce_f_jones told me today that the years don’t heal the grief, we just learn to somehow cope with the pain. So true!
