This restaurant has a phone at every table encouraging customers to call each other to and talk while they dine. There’s a placemat that has the number for each table. I’ll admit a few people ignored my call. The food is also very fun to cook and make sure to get the chocolate fondue.

Best boyfriend a goth girlfriend could ask for

The incredibly themed Dark Universe features classic horror monsters with rides, restaurants, merch and a large themed town. The ride was an action packed animatronic and screen based attraction that is a dope as hell. The park also has background music that is all original music by Danny Elfman!

The Frankenstein windmill sets off every 20 minutes, there’s themed horror food, and Igor walks around and says hello to guests.

I sat inside the midsection of a triceratops and ate dinner while an asteroid destroyed the restaurant. About every 20 minutes the lights drop, the animatronic dinosaurs panic, and a full meteor shower rumbles through the entire building with flashing lights and mist. There’s a 15 foot tall roaring T. Rex, a woolly mammoth, squawking pterosaurs, an ice cavern that changes colors, and a fern forest buzzing with giant wasps. You can also eat under glowing jellyfish if you want a calmer apocalypse. The Meteor Meatloaf and the Megasaurus burger are on the menu, and you can build your own plush dino on the way out. Follow me for more places that feel like a movie set you can order food in.

Anyone?? This was at a screening showcase of retro sci-fi movies/trailers at Vidiots in Los Angeles. People started reacting in bizarre ways around this Eggs in Space…movie? Is it even a movie? It was just an egg(s) on screen and intense noises.

I haven’t looked at the website the guy showed me in detail yet. eggsinspacemovie dot com I’ve been too busy editing this lol so I’ll have to look in to it for a different video maybe?

I just visited a national park in Long Beach and finished the entire hike before my song even got to the chorus.

Welcome to Bixby Knolls National Park, a fully signed, fully mapped, fully “official” national park that takes up exactly 0.05 acres on a random street corner. It was built in 2021 by the local business improvement association as a pandemic pick me up, and somehow it has more personality than parks a thousand times its size.

There’s a trail (12 seconds long), native wildlife signage (gnomes, jackalopes, elephant shrews, and a tiny subspecies of Bigfoot, officially listed), fairy doors tucked into the greenery, and Bigfoot prints stamped into the dirt like this is Yellowstone.

No entry fee, no rangers, no crowds, just a corner lot that decided to main character itself.

The House on the Rock is the most unhinged tourist attraction in America and I mean that as a compliment.

This place walks the line between absolute genius and fever dream. One second you’re staring at the world’s largest indoor carousel (no one’s allowed to ride it btw) and the next you’re in a room full of automated orchestras playing themselves while a giant sea creature hangs over your head.

It’s creepy. It’s beautiful. It’s overwhelming. And there is genuinely nothing else like it on the planet.

If you love weird roadside America, bucket list travel, or places that make you question everything — this is the one. Spring Green, Wisconsin. Go before you know too much. Trust me.
