A young woman of many words. A young woman whom not too long ago was just a girl. When arriving at Kstate I was unsure of the journey ahead, but with determination and God on my side, this is where it led.

Thank you Beta Zeta, Thank you Royal Court, Thank you Concert choir, Thank you Profashionals, Thank you S.I.S., Thank you KGR, Thank you SSS, Thank you Library Committee, Thank you Essence, Thank you Thorobred News, Thank you Coffeehouse and Thank you to every motiongoldd yogi.

Thank you to my sisters Kambria and Erykah. Because of the both of you, I know there is NOTHING in this world I cannot have or cannot do. My backbones my entire heart, If I ain’t got nothing I know I got you.

Thank you to my Father and Mother. You shower me with unwavering love, a feeling I can’t explain. You both are my inspiration and I aspire to make you proud each and everyday.

I wanna say thank you to me for showing up unapologetically and authentically.

I am the 3rd daughter of Eric and Angela. Born in 03, the 3rd month of the year, 3rd week of the month. Some people say 3rd times a charm, but I say -I am proof it was meant to be, the final piece in a higher plan’s trilogy.

To Thee Oh Alpha Kappa Alpha,

the greatest sorority of all time. A sisterhood so sweet, genuine and kind. I thank you, Alpha Kappa Alpha for the lessons, the tears, the love, the light and the growth. I thank you for my 11 sisters, oh so perfectly placed. A sisterhood that cannot be duplicated or replaced.

Thank you Aunt Marcia and my older cousins for paving the way and always being the example of Service, Sisterhood and Success every day.

To the sweetest Kl3bs and Pros of all. I thank you for the guidance and for always picking me up when I fall.

Thank you to my Neos for making me a big sister! Continue to be open to learn and grow. The more you experience, the more you know, and only God Knows the places you will go.

The Kurtain remains open for bows because my story is just about to begin. But the Beta Zeta Chapter will always have a special place in my heart til the very end.
