Give me my flowers because I deserve every single one of them!

To be graduating at 20 years old, as a first generation student, I’m beyond grateful for everything I accomplished.

No handouts, shortcuts or excuses.Everything earned, nothing given.

The work is far from done, but I’m elated for this next chapter of starting medical school 💐🤍 by @khaleasanaa

Today, I graduate Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA after only 3 years from Theeee Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University!

From the moment I stepped onto The Hill, I knew Alabama A&M was where I belonged. It welcomed me, even when I was uncertain, and helped me become the person I always dreamed of being. Graduating a year early is bittersweet, but I leave with more than just a degree, I’ve gained invaluable experiences and lifelong friendships. This HBCU taught me resilience, excellence, and the power of community, giving me the foundation to build my legacy. I’m forever grateful to my village, mentors, and Alma Mater for shaping me into who I am today.

Track and field is the one thing I’ve stuck with since I was 3. From a Mustang to a Hornet to a Bulldog, this sport has been my constant, teaching me lessons I’ll carry forever. It’s bittersweet knowing this chapter is closing, but I’m beyond grateful for everything it gave me.

My first true lessons in dedication and hard work came through this sport. It showed me what perseverance looks like, even when things get tough. Injuries may have cut my time short at A&M, but I made the most of every moment and cherished every second on the track.

To my coaches and my support system, thank you for believing in me and dedicating your time and energy to my growth. My love for this sport never faded, and it’s been a part of me for as long as I can remember.

Khalea, signing out🐶❤️.
