Whew!! What a journey! I got teary eyed just thinking about it. But, it has led me to something that is truly amazing, so it’s all good ❤️ Wish I had learned about this sooner 🙌🏽

I can't believe you were 40 (which was the new 30 😜) when we started dating!!

It's been an amazing 10 years because you have gotten more fabulous, daring and wonderful every year! Congrats on raising a beautiful (now) college graduate and the next 10 years will fly by with so many more adventures to come!

I'm blessed to have a partner that puts a smile on faces as soon as she walks in the room and that's what she does to me everyday.

Pictures of me in 2010, 2013…and 2023. Quite the upward progression 😅 I’ve managed to gain 45 pounds! 🤦🏽‍♀️ Sounds like a lot, but it’s really easy to put on 5-10 pounds a year. The scale just creeps up little by little, and then all of a sudden, you’re looking at a big a$$ number. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’ve never been super chiseled, but the little definition I had is gone. Right now, my legs look like fat little drumsticks, just waiting to be gobbled up 😂 And we don’t even wanna talk about these flabby, fatty arms…just wrong 😂

So today marks my journey back to my good ole bikini days 👙 My Real Jessica Rabbit days (IYKYK 😉) I know what I need to do, I just haven’t been motivated to do it. But, I turn 50 this year, and the whole “Fit & Fine at 50” tagline has a great ring to it! 💪🏽 by @khalilahstarks

Whew! This is officially my happy dance! 💫

For years, I thought the reason I wasn’t consistent in trading was because I needed to learn more - more strategies, more indicators, more chart patterns.

So, I became a really good student. 🤓 I think I could legitimately write a really good book on trading because of all the knowledge I took in over the years. 😂 Never missed class, but got nowhere with it financially. 😫

But the truth was… the thing holding me back wasn’t on my screen or in class. It was me the entire time.

Specifically — it was my greed. And man was I GREEDY!! 😂

I was risking too much on each trade because I wanted every trade to be “the one.”
And when I won, it felt amazing…💰
But when I lost? It felt horrible and then I’d start risking tiny amounts (under leveraging) to avoid any further pain of loss which is just as toxic as well. 😭

That one greedy habit kept me on an emotional rollercoaster for years. Under leverage then over leverage…rinse repeat for years. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Then I finally learned the truth:
👉 Capital preservation is the real secret to winning in trading. Risk management is everything!!

Once I started managing my risk, taking the appropriate size trade for my account and protecting my capital, everything shifted.
🎯I stopped trading from fear.
🎯I stopped chasing trades.

And for the first time, I started trading with peace and consistency 🙌🏽

Now I dance because I’m free - not because I hit a big trade, but because I finally stopped sabotaging myself! ❤️

I learned the skill of trading from the best in the business, but I ultimately had to get out of my own way to start seeing results.
