Rookie year nationals ✅

I am beyond blessed and grateful to have been apart of such an amazing program. Nationals season was definitely the most challenging but most rewarding process in my life so far. It has brought me closer to God, and for that I am forever changed. I have learned what it means to love the process not just trust it. Whether it was the two a day practices, or multiple sets in one day, I have fallen in love with the hard work that it takes to be champion and I could not be more grateful it was with these people!
Thank you so much to my coaches @laylaruffin_ and @_oliviagraziano for believing in me and giving me this incredible opportunity!
Also thank you to all of my teammates, with your guys’ love, support, and guidance I truly found my home away from home in Louisiana!
There are so many more people I could thank that have gotten me here but most importantly I want to thank God. He has helped me overcome so many nights of worry and has taught me to let go of what I cannot control.
Here’s to an amazing first year and I cannot wait to see what God has in store for me! TYJ! taken in Southeastern Louisiana University by @khameela.mitchell
