My Baba. My king:
You left three days after your birthday… quietly very unlikely of you 💔.
But every second of your absence has been felt deeply. In the corners of Kahout House. In the silence after azaan. In the 100s & 100s of faces that look at me with your reflection.

They say a son becomes a man the day his father passes. I don’t know if that’s true.
All I know is — I became a void that day.

But something unexpected happened.
I sat by your grave. And for the first time, I wasn’t shattered. I was held.
By the earth that now holds you. By the prayers that found me.
& by every single person who came to me and said the same thing —
“Tera baap Sakhi tha.”
A giver. A shield. A system.

You gave so much to so many — and asked for nothing in return.
You let people build lives off your back, palaces from your blood.
And still you never raised your voice.
That silence, Baba — it was louder than thunder.
That restraint? It screamed class. It screamed legacy.

“Invisible Children of Pakistan”

This project started with something simple… I wanted to understand the children we see at the red light.
But the deeper I went, the clearer it became… they aren’t “street children.”
They’re invisible.
Not because they don’t exist, but because we stopped noticing.
.
When I tried finding official numbers, I found silence.
The last real data on street-connected children is almost a decade old.
And yet, as a nation, we never run out of politics, controversies, memes, debates we don’t even understand… everything trends except the things right in front of us.
.
And maybe that silence isn’t just institutional.
Sometimes it’s easier to blame the government for everything… it saves us from looking at our own role as a society.
That’s not what this video is about.
It’s simply about acknowledging the children we’ve blurred out of our frame.

Just because something is normal, doesn’t mean it should be invisible.

This part genuinely felt like a dream.

Seeing footballs made here go on to become official match balls for major European leagues is one thing. Walking into an entire production unit powered by women was another.

That, for me, was the real flex.

On the invitation of Federal Minister for @moib_official , @atta_tarar , I had the opportunity to visit the Ministry’s new digital headquarters at the Pak-China Friendship Centre in Islamabad.

What was supposed to be an introduction turned into a very warm, informal conversation on Pakistan’s digital voice, disinformation, creators, youth, media, and how we are seen by the world.

In my own little way, I’ve always tried to represent Pakistan through culture, travel, storytelling and conscience. So to be in a room where these conversations are being taken seriously felt like a milestone.

But honestly, what stood out to me even more was his Vision itself.

Everywhere you look, there are young people working. Not the usual baba system we are so used to seeing in this country. Actual young minds, actual digital energy, actual technology being used with purpose.

And I know even for a minister, bypassing old norms and building something this young, modern and responsive is not easy.

On my next visit, I would genuinely love to show you all what has been built under his vision, because it deserves to be seen… like FR!

Grateful for the time, the warmth, and the openness.

Because bridging the gap between governance, platforms and the awam is not just important anymore.
It is necessary!

There’s something very wholesome about humans just Loving out loud.

Staying up till stupid hours for absolutely no reason, laughing at things that won’t even make sense tomorrow, becoming a little too comfortable a little too quickly, making inside jokes, overfeeding each other, taking terrible pictures, saying “bas 5 minute aur” for 3 hours 😭

And then somehow… without even realising it, a few silly little days quietly become memories you’re not ready to leave yet.

Life felt very full for a few days.

Bittersweet, but great bonds are Forged by Allah ☝🏼
